mort isn't known for being the most reliable source. he has a tendency to turn molehills into mountain ranges just for a big story.

it's not the big deal that mort and that rumor would have you believe.

There is nothing wrong with seeing a sports psychologist or any psychologist; but, in the inflamatory space. coming after Steve's comments, Mortenson made these statements. if its a lie, Mortenson needs to be called on it.

I believe Newton needs to fight back this time, preferably on the field or at the least make a statement about it officially during his Wed presser.

I dont think the problem is Smitty. Its how Rivera is handling this team, thats the real problem.
I mean you dont come out and say that you wished Smitty shouldve kept quiet. IMO, thats just another sign of Rivera "babying" (huddle term) Cam.

I wouldnt doubt that Rivera is losing this team by the minute.
A NFL head coach doesnt win his team by being completely "stoic" at all times.
Rivera brings no attitude and no identity to this team.
