..but I so want to be able to keep Jon Beason on this team.

 

Such a great player/leader/dude. Listening to him on his episode of This is Gross, just amazed at him. Arguably one of most put together players in the league (mentally speaking).

He should be a shoe-in for NFLN after his playing days. That or I'll hire him as my sales manager.

Only way he'll stay is if he restructures next year. He'll have $8M dead money vs. saving $23.5M over the last 3 years of his contract (netting $15M). I could see his last 3 years (3yr/31.5M) getting knocked down to 3yr/18-23M with the pay cut giving him a small base salary and more signing bonus.
