I was looking through some of the free agent names and I happened to run into Collie's. This kid at one point had a bright future. Granted, his career has been plagued by injuries but Austin still possesses talent. Me personally, I'd be very interested in signing him at the veteran minimum, and see what's left in the gas tank. With our recent signings of Ginn and Hixon, it could add further competition and depth to a subpar core of receivers.

I don't know about Collie, but I LOVE that gif in your signature.  What's that from?

Lol, looks like I won't be replacing it anytime soon.

It's from the Czechoslovakian movie Muzi V Nadejdi.

a part of me wishes we would and the other part tells me we are just throwing money away.

Once you get that many concussions they just start piling on. If i were him i would retire.

His concussion history definitely makes it difficult for any team to sign him but some random and desperate team will take the risk. Shame Austin is on his way out though.

we need WR1, anything else is a waste of time at this point (unless you believe collie can unseat lafell, which is unlikely)

Not necessarily Collie, but we need another quality TE. Hartsock isn't the guy.

If Austin Collie gets another shot, it literally could be his last.

You're the reason my gf keeps accusing me of watching porn when I visit the huddle.

Three concussions plus a few other injuries in 3 seasons? I think if no team signed him it would probably be the best thing for his future.  He is playing with fire.  To anwser your question I have no interest in chasing another receiver to compete with the rest of our bottom of the barrel guys that probably will not make it through the season.
