He was on the field for a hot minute, so how they can say his play has fallen off just isn't quite logical to me. If he passes waivers, I bet you that they'll be the first ones in line trying to sign him to an even cheaper deal.

Guess he didn't seperate himself from his competition??? 1.6 million isn't very much money for a solid starter. The article said he couldnt keep up with their UDFA. I can't claim to know how the remaining RGs for the phins look. All I know is it wasn't 100% about his money...

I can. They are mediocre/terrible. One is John Jerry who is overweight since he joined our team. The other is undrafted rookie Josh Samuda who would have been destroyed by old women with walkers  if they were rushing the passer.

The Bears have gotten Cutler killed the last few years and they didnt resign Louis. He's done.

Got a feeling there'll be better options at final cuts.

I agree Mr. Scot, said same thing in another thread...

Just the fact that he was on Chicago's O-line should throw up many red flags. Cutler has needed a mattress on his back the past few seasons...

I would play watch and see with Lance Louis at least til after second cuts. We need to at least give ourselves some options

Yes, let's sign another player coming off ACL surgery that has been dumped by two teams with bad O-Lines (Bears, Dolphins).  Except this guy isn't familiar with the team or the playbook.

Better cuts will come.  Pass.

I don't really know anything about Louis, but what I read. He may be done, especially if Chicago didn't want him (perhaps Dimbee can shed more light on that).

One thing that I would like to point out is that just because a QB gets laid out consistently, doesn't mean that everybody on the line sucks.

I'm still up for catman72 becoming available.  Is it too late?
