FREE AGENCY:
LET GO:
Hardy: I don't want to think about a tag and trade because I don't know how realistic it is or isn't but we don't have the funds to resign him after a monster year.
Others:
Bell, Brockell, Byers, Campbell, Dockery, Hangartner, Hixon, Lafell, Munnerlyn, and Gary Williams.

RESIGN:
Anderson, Cole, Florence, Gano, Ginn, Gross, Mitchell, Mikell, and Wharton

NEW SIGNINGS:
Jared Allen: Cheaper and shorter term than what Hardy will want.

DRAFT:
1st Taylor Lewan 6-7 315 lbs OT Michigan- This guy is a potential LT of the future that finds himself falling because his team wasn't as good and he has an attitude problem sometimes. I think we get a steal here!

2nd Paul Richardson 6-1 172 lbs WR Colorado- Not a huge receiver but he's the best available with very good speed. Could be a steal that falls because he's from a small school.

3rd Aaron Colvin 6-0 192 lbs Oklahoma- We have to bolster the back 4 and this is a good start.

4th Seantrel Henderson 6-7 345 lbs OT Miami- This is a great developmental right tackle that may be able to contribute immediately.

5th Vinnie Sunserie 6-0 210 SS Alabama- He's injured but after he's recovered he could be a really good asset to have.

6th Deion Belue 5-11 183 CB Alabama- A late flyer on a guy who could contribute early. Alabama plays a zone scheme and he could come and play since we may or may not bring back some of the vet defensive backs.

7th L'Damion Washington 6-4 205 lbs WR Missouri- A big receiver who's unpolished but who has all the physical assets you want.

Potential Starting lineup:
Offense:
QB: Newton
RB: Williams/ Stewart barner
FB: Tolbert
LT: Gross
LG: Amini
C: Kalil
RG: Wharton
RT: Lewan/ Chandler
WR 1: Nicks/Richardson/ Ginn
WR 2: Smith/ King/ Washington
TE: Olsen/

DEFENSE:
DE: Johnson/ Alexander
DT: Lotulelei/Cole
DT: Short/Edwards
DE: Allen/ Addison
OLB: Davis
MLB: Kuechly
OLB: Klein
CB: Florence/ Colvin
SS: Mikell/ Lester
FS: Mitchell/ jones
CB: White/ Belue

I personally would love if Matthews dropped to out pick where Richardson is but I doubt that happens

Love the draft. But, yea I hate the Paul Richardson pick. The dude is Ted Ginn 2.0

You think he will drop as many passes as Ginn?

I don't think Lewan will drop to #28 but I wouldn't hesitate to pick him if he did.

lewan is not dropping to 28.

There are several sites who have Lewan falling this far. It's not outlandish

Lewan is one of the few players I would grab up at 28 before picking any WR.

I had a lot of hopes that Lewan would drop until Cedric, Erving and Collins all decided to go back to school

Nope. If we don't get wr.in the first we won't get one worth picking.

I actually like these moves by the OP, our oline would be a tad bit better, WR much better, Dline really has the opportunity to be about the same, DBs we should be a tad better especially with White improving. What was Allen's last contract?

Lewan is a lock for top 15 unless he also develops a phantom cardiac arrhythmia.
