Also, according to a league source, at least one Panthers coach was at Ohio State on Wednesday to work out Buckeyes receiver Corey Brown. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound Brown led Ohio State in receiving the past two seasons, and he’s expected to be a late-round selection or go to undrafted free agency.

I think it's safe to say we will be leaving the draft with 2 and maybe even 3 wide receivers.

That's Philly, right?

Kid is a baller.  Could be a steal.  Although I still don't know why we've only been linked to late-round WRs so far?

Would not use a draft pick on him but would invite to rookie camp.

He is a track guy turned football. Too raw for a draft pick.

There will be a lot of steals in this deep draft. Everyone will get a piece of the pie. Hopefully we get 3 pieces.

Brown ran a 4.51 forty at the combine. His nickname is “Philly” because he is from Upper Darby, Pa., just outside of Philadelphia. One of the teams he has met with is the Philadelphia Eagles.
“They said it’s only right that we get you since your name is Philly,” Brown said.

leave no stone unturned.  this is how we will build our new wr core.  people complained for years that we have no talent.  in two years we will finally have something here.  personally, im glad we're blowing up the position.  it needs it.  like someone said in another thread, i think last year's roster overachieved.  but that's a great thing imo because it means our coaching staff did their job (hence the extension).

Bringing in late round/udfa guys for visits is the right approach. The big names are by and large known commodities. It's the small names you gotta do extensive research on.
