#2630916 2014 Huddle mock offseason rules/ offense and specialist FA pool

So eat the remainder of Bradfrod's contract, massive dead cap money all accelerated to 2014.

Gotta figure Bridgewater goes to Houston so you pass on Jadeveon Clowney for Johnny Football or Bortles?

Then besides the dead QB money you sign the rookie QB for ~ 4 yrs/25mill?

Yikes.

But OK, sure.

The Bradford contract just looks so bad because they were the last team to sign a #1 overall pre Rookie salray cap.

We got lucky with Cam the next year at about 40% of the cost.

Sucks to be the Rams.

Depends on how much they like the QB class. I think if you see a situation where the Texans trade for Ryan Mallett, the Rams would have their pick of QB's.

Also cutting Bradford only hits the Rams with $7 million in dead cap in comparison to the $17 million salary Bradford earns in 2014.

one could honestly make the argument for both sides of the Long and Bradford case.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the Rams fall in love with a QB and if he's available at #2 they take him and cut Bradford, would save $10 million in cap space and free them from the fail that is Sam Bradford. I think Long will stay even with the injury, though if the Rams don't like a QB and don't want a DE or WR, they could draft an OT and cut long or play Matthews at RT with Long at LT.

I wanna take control of an expansion team, and filter through free agents and cast-offs to make my roster. I'll even take the 33rd pick of every round haha

So basically what I'm going through with the Raiders?

Imagine Cam behind an offensive line of:

Joe Thomas-Evan Mathis-Ryan Kalil- Jahri Evans-Duane Brown

Throwing to:

Calvin Johnson- Josh Gordan- Brandon Marshall

#2624837 Two receiving TEs

Wouldn't mind grabbing CJ Fiedorowicz in the 3rd, guy even has an american eagle tattoo like Shockey. He's a 6'6" fantastic blocking TE with long arms, big and soft hands that improved greatly on catches in 2013. Some might say we have Hartsock as our blocking TE, but it seems age caught up to him with injuries, especially considering he'll be 34 and a free agent next season.

#2624778 Whiner fans crying about the refs all over the internet

Posted by Riverboat Ron on 20 January 2014 - 12:09 PM

But they had Michael Crabtree!!!

How could they lose???

He's Jerry Rice/Michael Irvin/Calvin Johnson in one.

Sucks how the 49ers never get calls in their favor. If only they had refs that had no friggin idea what pass interference or a completed catch looked like, maybe they would've won.

Nothing to see here, Goodell has already decided who will win this game.

Didn't know Boston Market started selling jerked chicken.

#2621197 You Better Get To Know "CALVIN PRYOR"!

Posted by Riverboat Ron on 18 January 2014 - 05:23 PM

I think late 1st round to very early 2nd is the range Pryor should go. Even with our offensive needs, it wouldn't surprise me if Gettleman would go BPA and end up with either WR, OT, TE, S, CB or even DE if Hardy is gone. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Pryor jump Clinton-Dix and pull an Eric Reid and go higher than predicted.

Why don't we bring back Eric Davis and Mike Minter...

#2617062 Met Life Stadium Super Bowl: Empty After Halftime?

I want a blizzard of epic proportions so that nobody can see the game or halftime show and the score will be 2-0 after someone runs the wrong way for a safety.

Mikell was the big loss at SS, whole game turned after that.

The fact Hardy posts on the Huddle shows he's missing a few tacos.
