Ouch, I hope he is ready to go against Seattle. I don't think there is a combo on the roster better then Stewart and Williams if they both are healthy.

The Giants aren't gonna let Nicks just walk. He'll get the tag.

If we end up picking in the 20s, I rather not go after a LT. I would prefer a wide receiver to be honest.

I think its $11 million is they franchise him. That is a lot to have in a WR who is not your #1.

I'd love to have him, and with Gettlemen here and Nicks being from here, there is a chance. But as always I think someone will just pay him more then we will be willing to.

How about we get a winning season before throwing around scholarships??

Nice to hear, underrated around here IMO. Dude is a straight up monster, its all bull rush all the time.

In Topic: Extending Greg Hardy now would be a big mistake.

I do not get the logic of locking up Hardy now for a long term deal. Yes he had a breakout year last year but im very much against extending a player that has only had one good year. I keep hearing "well if we wait until next season, he will cost more because he will match or exceed last year's perfrmance." Sure, its a possiblity. But its also a possibility he under performs and we can sign him for a reasonable amount.

Not only that but even if he does outperform, im still not sure I would want to pay him big money. With Dwan, Short, Star and CJ, its not hard to have just a average player at DE come in and look like a force. If Frank Alexander has a solid performance I say it might be worth it to let Hardy walk and continue on with big Frank.

This is what I don't get about your argument.

Hardy has only 1 great season, he may or may not next year. Let him have a real chance to walk out the door.

Alexander has had 0 great seasons, he may or may not next year. Lets bank the future of the D on it.

see what I mean?

Its obvious what the plan of this D is PASS RUSH, have to have great ends for that. Plus Hardy can move inside easily. Him and Johnson are perfect for what they are trying to build. They both can play all over the line. Pressure from everywhere, Matt Ryan is going to be crying himself to sleep.

Thank him for picking the player they had at the top of their board?

It was a no brainer at that point, lets see what we make of the rest of the draft.

Do love the dude for his off season moves though.
