#3334790 The Running Back Class

Posted by jtm on 26 April 2015 - 11:50 AM

Thanks for posting this. Interesting.

Big drop-off after #2.

I really liked Davis at SC, so I would have no trouble going with him in the 4th round or so. We have looked at a few of the later-round backs too.

I love Davis too but I could never figure him out in college. When he's healthy and trying, he's elite but some games he appeared to be taking it easy and not trying. If a team gets him late and he gives 100% effort in the pros, someone got a steal.

#3331819 Greg Hardy suspended 10 games

Posted by jtm on 23 April 2015 - 11:54 AM

This thread is sad. I can't imagine why anyone would defend someone that beat a women. If Hardy wasn't famous and rich, he would almost certainly be in jail right now versus complaining about a 10 game suspension that still allows him to make $5 million.

#3325841 Gurley: Ready by training camp

Posted by jtm on 18 April 2015 - 10:35 AM

It's a no brainer if he's there at 25. Gurley is special and I'd run him hard for 4-5 years then trade him and let another team pay the big contract.

I have no issue drafting a rb early if he's a game changer. I have a big problem paying a rb big money after 4-5 years bc of the drop off.

#3325057 Justin Hardy route tree breakdown

I'd love to see Hardy in the 2nd or 3rd. He's the perfect possession WR that we desperately need. I'm okay w Brown and Ginn as our deep threat guys.

#3308435 Greg Jennings Thinking About Breaking Signing On Social Media

I actually like Jennings less now that he is concerned about his Twitter account.

I think they are funny. If you don't like them, just don't log on tomorrow.

#3303042 Panthers claim OT Jonathan Martin

He's a OL starter in the NFL the Panthers essentially got for nothing. Can't imagine why anyone has an issue with this.

I wonder what the going rate is for Jennings?

#3283928 Newton at a charity golf event (with a host you may have heard of)

He wasnt , people in media make comments like that all the time.

Yes, I was joking. Having said this, Andrew Luck literally just tweeted that he's in the film room.

I bet Andrew Luck is in the film room.

It looks like Dallas will let Dwayne Harris go. I'd love to see us sign him bc he won't be expensive and is an excellent returner. He's young and never really got an opportunity to be a WR in Dallas. He has great potential and would be a solid signing.

$4-5 million a year is probably what he'll get and it wouldn't surprise me if Philly signs him.

#3258084 Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks

Posted by jtm on 28 February 2015 - 05:19 PM

The Panthers letting him go tells me that they weren't thrilled with his behavior after the incident rather than the incident itself.

#3256451 WR Harry Douglas released by Falcons

He's much better than any other receiver on our team not named kelvin. Douglas was solid when Jones or White was injured.

Tolbert wasn't very effective carrying the ball last year. Not sure why.
