#2236727 Gettlemen continues to get criticism for not bringing in a WR

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 19 May 2013 - 09:12 PM

Its like I am taking crazy pills!!  What the hell else would you have rather Gettlemen done!  There wasn't appropriate value in the draft, and the FAs available either weren't an upgrade or wanted too much money!

IS HE SUPPOSED TO CRAP OUT ANOTHER STEVE SMITH?????

What is wrong with you people!!

Why bother replying to something that you find stupid and "boring". Jokes on you.

As the OP I understand the frustration.  I am sorry my topic was worthy of posting a "who the fug cares" gif.  Truth be told, I myself was bored and making wallpaper for the upcoming season and wanted the huddles take on who the top 4 players for the 2013 season would be.

Instead of just asking, plain and boring, I based my post off this: http://profootballta...rs-mt-rushmore/

Difference of opinion is what makes life interesting.  Have a great day

#2233688 Extending Greg Hardy now would be a big mistake.

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 16 May 2013 - 09:12 AM

You have seen what can happen.  Look at Flacco's contract.  They gambled on not extending Flacco before the season and he had an epic performance and the Raven's had to seriously pay the man

Unless the coaches are planning on rotating Hardy out enough to not inflate his numbers, I do not see waiting a viable option.  With the improvements to the interior D-line, he is going to put up some good numbers again.

But, it is all a gamble.  That is why they get paid the big bucks to make the decisions

It's a warm summer day and an elderly gentleman and his wife are driving down the highway. They are in the midst of a heated argument; his wife has accused him of adultery. Although he is vigilantly defending his honor she is convinced that he has been cheating on her. Back and forth they shout, getting louder and angrier and more upset with each exchange. Eventually his wife's anger boils over and in a fit of rage she reaches over, pulls his penis out, slices it off and hurls it out the window of the speeding car.

Meanwhile, a middle-aged man is driving down the same highway with his six year old daughter. All of a sudden a bloody severed penis flies out of nowhere and SMACKS against the windshield, where it flops around for a few seconds before flying off to the side.

The young girl jumps forward in her seat, startled, and exclaims "Oh, my GOSH!!! Daddy, what was that?"

The father panics: his daughter is still too young and innocent to learn about such things as penises. He thinks quickly and tells her "Don't worry, sweetie. It was just a bug."

"Oh, okay Daddy" she responds, and they continue on their way. After a few minutes of silence the little girl looks up at her father and asks "Sure had a big dick, didn't it?"

Yes! bad joke time!  Here we go:

Mhatma Gandhi went barefoot most of the time, as you probably knew, which caused him to develop many very painful calluses all over his feet.  he also ate very little, which made him frail and gave him bad breath. All this together made him.... wait for it..... A super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis!

I can come up with worse.....

Robert Lester will be our Victor Cruz!

I predict he starts this year.  Though he won't get the noteriety of a WR, we will know.....

#2227703 Rivera forgot Fua's name

As a man who assesses cognitive strengths and weaknesses for a living, it makes me nervous that Rivera has such obvious word finding difficulties.  He also tends to slur some words, constantly shows speech repetition and tends to struggle pronouncing certain letter combinations.

#2223920 I'm Calling It Now Panthers vs 49ERS NFC Championship Game

Posted by Leeroy Jenkins PhD on 06 May 2013 - 04:49 PM

I will not deny that our team is heading in the right direction.  If you follow the trend,

3 years ago we were the laughing stock of the NFL.  I mean just pathetic.

2 years ago, we were competitive.  Not a good team, but in most games.

Last year, we were a good team.  We were on the wrong side of some calls, had a tough schedule and the ball didn't bounce our way, but we were a playoff caliber team last year.

This year, I expect that trend to continue.  I fully expect us to make the playoffs this year.  Once you make the playoffs, all bets are off.  But, we should at least be in postseason.  If not, we have taken a step backward
