#2917273 Avant and Gano Talk About Their Faith

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 30 August 2014 - 04:51 PM

Those who oppose don't need to be asses about it. I don't think the point of this thread was to force personal beliefs in the faces of those who don't agree. If you don't want to hear about it, simply don't read. That said, I'm not even a religious guy. But I'm not going to be a douche about it. Show respect by just not posting.

#2905902 This offense will miss Steve Smith

Yeah except you still see your ex as the hot chick when you started dating her. Now she has gained 20 pounds and lost her front tooth, but you are still convinced she is hot.

She is no longer hot, just mildly fuggable

I gotta be honest. She no longer sounds fuggable...

#2900011 Chances Bersin could be our number 2 at WR

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 20 August 2014 - 02:09 PM

Consider who is covering Bersin. I absolutely love the dude, but he hasn't even been a lock to make the team at all, let alone as our #2. He is playing against the same caliber players in opposing secondaries. Doesn't mean he can't contribute, but he isn't on starter level yet by any means

Remember when all those guys wanted an OL cause KB was gonna be a bust? Yeah, I bet they all act like they wanted him all along by mid October ;)

(Ps I wanted him long before the draft :) )

#2855005 "LANCE CAM " at the ESPYS -Hilarious

he's the best artist in music today... nothing to do with his comedy he's the man because of his music imo

No offense, but as a musician I take offense when people say rappers are the most talented musicians on earth. Mainly because they aren't musicians. They play no instruments, half don't make their own beats and half don't write their own lyrics. They are entertainers. That said, I listen to very little rap. But if you want a real band that's world class try Manchester Orchestra (no they aren't an orchestra. They are an indie rock band from Atlanta)

#2854176 who is the best team in the east?

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 16 July 2014 - 01:40 PM

I hate hate hate the heat, but just because they lost LeBron doesn't mean they are a scrub either. They still have a pretty loaded team that includes Chalmers, Wade, Deng and Bosh. That's still powerful. I could see us finish anywhere from 1-6 and I give us as good a poo as anyone. Point being the East is wide open and it doesn't contain a clear cut powerhouse anymore. For that, I am thankful. Go hornets

#2849289 Marvin @ $7mil > Deng @ $10mil

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 13 July 2014 - 05:15 PM

I'm not a big fan of the OP to be totally honest, but he has a valid point. And posting "BANT" over and over in the thread is way more obnoxious than him posting stats... So yeah

#2838764 Panthers should sign Tim Howard

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 03 July 2014 - 02:38 AM

Also, why do you think the NFL is protecting their players more and more. Lawsuits? No. They are trying to protect their finances. Yes, it's the dominate money making sport in the US. But more and more parents are pulling their kids out of football and putting them in soccer. It's a safer, less aggressive sport. In turn, those kids will likely grow up appreciating soccer more simply because that's what they played. I LOVE my panthers. But if you really think soccer doesn't have room to compete in America, you are sorely mistaken. In 30 years, I garuntee you it will be a force. That's the biggest youth league sport in our country man. Wait til those kids grow up.

Another thing about the US and soccer. We have 4 major sports. Europe has 1. Soccer just can't compete.

Also, don't really care to read about the rules, or how they seem to keep time. It doesn't add to the fact that the game is boring. Nuances or not. There just aren't enough exciting plays to justify 90+ minutes.

In a normal game you get what, 10 shots. Ooh. Such excitement can't be good for people. I mean, 0-0 after 90+ minutes. Wow, that's entertainment.

I just don't get it. Maybe in Europe where they have nothing else it may make sense. But here in the ol' US of A, we like our sports to be exciting. And soccer just doesn't fit the bill.

It's sad how little you know about the game... Played 15 years. It's the most beautiful teamwork sport in the world. And the skill level is world class.

#2833484 All Hail Cho The Great and MJ The Magnificent

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 27 June 2014 - 11:48 AM

I believe the only thing MJ is doing is staying out of Cho's way last night,..... Which was the right thing to do. Cho has proven he knows what to do and MJ had proven in prior drafts that he does not.

MJ is going exactly what a good owner should do. Hire god and talented people ....and then letting them do their job.

He should use his name and connections to help lure FA's. But, that is it.

I'm with you. When you hire god and surround him with talent, you just need to let him do his job ;)

You have to figure the rockets weren't gonna take hairston with the 25 pick since they have harden already.

The reason they didn't want him was because they didn't want to pay anyone with that pick. They took a foreign player to save them money to go after Melo. Cho knew they would take a foreigner so there was no way Pj would go to them.

By taking a foreigner, they can 'stash' him away for the future while he finished his contract in Europe. He just used smarts to dictate exactly what they would do.

#2829535 Five cities you recommend when foreigners to visit the U.S.

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 25 June 2014 - 01:01 AM

If you're going to NC, I recommend Asheville. Extremely scenic and filled with culture.

I live in Asheville and I second that. However if I had never been to America, Asheville is probably not the city I would want to come see. Its a great city and beer city USA. But it's small. Still some pretty good attractions though, such as the biltmore estate, awesome music venues, art galleries and more beer than you can handle!

New York is probably the staple, but other than that my favs are

San Fransisco: probably the most beautiful city in America

Seattle: Awesome place. Super chill

Washington DC: Really historic. Nice place to sight see.

San Diego: another beautiful place with lots of awesome nightlife

Las Vegas: THE nightlife city of USA

Boston: Heart of America

Charlotte: Really is a beautiful city.

Miami: it's pretty nice there, can't complain

And finally my personal favorite

Charleston: most beautiful beaches on the east coast. Love the town to death.

#2823140 US Patent Office cancels Redskins trademark

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 18 June 2014 - 10:21 AM

It won't matter. This just means we'll see even more crappy Redskins gear everywhere.

And lol at anybody taking a side because you dont like the team. It may be tme to join adulthood.

Join adulthood? You do realize the implications this can have? Not just for the NFL. Not just for sports. The government can literally move pawns like chess pieces on a board. I don't think these are the kinds of things they need to be controlling.

#2818486 Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

Posted by TheMostInterestingMan on 13 June 2014 - 06:42 AM

I'm not a heat fan you stupid fu(k , who are you? Dumb b!tch go smoke some cock. Cleveland has much more talent to support LeBron with than miami. Bosh is all miami has going for it outside of LeBron

Are you for real right now? Kyrie is sorely overrated and the heat have basically landed any FA veteran they wanted. Supporting cast is much better in Miami and Miami can reload any time they want. The problem is, the Spurs damn near have an entire backup lineup that could make up a team on its own.

As for me? I don't post much, but I started following this forum religiously the year Carolina signed Keyshawn Johnson lol. And I've seen your posts numerous times. Never fail to shake my head at them.
