#2738327 Matthias' Mock 2014 (Final)

Posted by Shermdog on 13 April 2014 - 05:00 PM

Cooks-Turner-Bailey is my dream draft.

Big play WR, LT/RT, FS hybrid

I like that and then Latimer in the 4th!

#2715478 Mike Williams (TB) most likely to get cut according to NFL.com

Posted by Shermdog on 25 March 2014 - 08:44 AM

If the wound wasn't bad then why not try to sign him? He is better than 90% of the free agents available. He could easily be our #1 WR right now.

#2689879 Big Ups to Beason

Yeah, good for Beason. Sure wish we could have gotten more than a 7th rounder for him.....

#2675398 Ken's Mock Offseason/Mock Draft

Posted by Shermdog on 05 March 2014 - 09:04 AM

I like this. I didn't realize Maclin only got 1 yr $5.5, 3.5 guaranteed. That makes me hopeful that we could sign Nicks.

#2663934 WR Brandin Cooks

Posted by Shermdog on 24 February 2014 - 09:50 AM

He definitely moved up on my list. Now my top 5 WR's are:

1. Watkins

2. Lee

3. Cooks

4. Evans

5. Beckham Jr.

#2660580 Interview with Ron Rivera on NFL AM

Posted by Shermdog on 21 February 2014 - 09:08 AM

Guys the reason we went 12-4 this past season is because of our dominant defense which was led by our pass rush. We should all be happy that we are retaining the Kraken! And hopefully with Gettleman working the contract it wont be that bad.

#2650128 Report: Eric Ebron has put on significant weight

Posted by Shermdog on 11 February 2014 - 10:36 AM

Other than Watkins, Evans, and Lee, I would take any of the three TE over the receivers left.

I love Benjamin, Odell, and Matthews but I may take a bigger body and safer pick (ASJ, Ebron, Amaro) over them right now.

This is the way I am starting to lean. A good TE improves the pass game and the blocking game plus Gettleman has already hinted that we need another TE.

#2504859 Samuel L. Jackson Calls Matt Ryan a "***"

Posted by Shermdog on 22 November 2013 - 01:56 PM

Did anyone see the shot of Samuel L. Jackson in the crowd after Matt Ryan slid instead of running on 3rd and goal. It sure looked like he said "Awww you ***." Just thought it was funny and a little out of character for Samuel L. Jackson. You know Cam wouldn't have slid in that situation.

#2466632 So... Panthers control their own destiny.... right?

Posted by Shermdog on 04 November 2013 - 01:47 PM

The saints have a very tough set of games in front of them. They play the Cowboys next Sunday night, then the 49ers, then @ the falcons, @ the seahawks and then they get us. We could pass them in the rankings before we even play.

I hope we trade and get Blackmon in the off season

And you call yourself a Charlottenian?

#2464765 5-3

Posted by Shermdog on 03 November 2013 - 06:03 PM

I guarantee the Panthers will be 2-6 with a victory against either STL or TB, en route to 2-8 after losing to SF and NE the following two weeks.  Would be fitting considering Ron Rivera always starts 2-8.  I actually have money riding on this prediction.  I've made so much money betting against the Panthers these past two years. Takes the sting out of losing too.

They'll finish 4-12, beating Tampa and the NYJ at the end of the year.  Unlike the previous two seasons, the team will NOT rally at the end of the year because there is ZERO chance Rivera stays on another season.  This season is going to get ugly very quick.
