I have been attacked personally over my Bryce opinions, for years, and I am stubborn, but fair as I know how to be when he does something right. Got called for being an evil bad person that hates because I said he was entitled. And that started because people were saying Shed Sanders was entitled, while ignoring Bryce. You and I argued that and it did not descend into personal insults but another person in there had to go there. And the thing about it was, the thread wanted to get Sanders in here to compete and I said I would pass. It is just that he was a 5th round pick and isn’t being handed anything that got me defending him

Inconsistency...although sustainability is probably the better framing word. He's certainly capable of having good games, but not on a consistent basis. Likewise, he may be somewhat overachieving right now, but I doubt that's sustainable.

I mean....there is a limit to rushing a kick in those conditions. If they miss, it's over anyway.

The latter part is the truth. They gave some PS concessions IIRC during the move to 17. And we all know how much cheaper PS guys are than league minimum guys.

The "official" argument Is that with 32 teams in the league and 60-70 players on every roster, the talent is already diluted. The actual argument is more likely that they don't want to have to pay more players (kinda like how they talk about valuing player safety at the Same time they're pushing for more games)

That's kinda the same issue I have with Bryce.

Hence, "the usual suspects". I get "entrenched" to a certain point, but football can be incredibly fluid. Things change a lot, and sometimes rather quickly. "Personal" though? That I don't get so much. Bring a passionate fan is cool, but I'm not gonna change my feelings about somebody over a sports discussion. Hell, I don't even hate most rival fans...except Cowboy fans. (but I can't say that out loud)

I think Canales has basically done very little for QB's. I think that was something sold to us the fans and the organization.
