Some QBs are more comfortable than others. Sam historically hasn’t been as comfortable in that aspect as elite guys such as Brady. But none of them are ever comfortable when it gets to a certain extent. If you go look at every QB historically including Brady. Their worst games were when they had terrible protection up the middle. We gave up that at a historic rate today. The man was just set up for failure

When the QB has a guy in his face about every other snap. And knows there’s about a 50/50 chance every play he’s going to get drilled by the some guy up the middle about the second the ball hits his hands or he will have to run for his life. Any QB will begin to ravel. Brady, Watson, Mahomes included
-
He did come up limping. I believe in the 3rd quarter after being flushed out of the pockets with 2 guys barreling at him up the middle. poor guy was like sitting on the train tracks watching the train lights coming at him all day long. Cam Newton would have gone out broken after the 1st quarter behind this OL today.
-
Got close enough to where he could smell my breathe. So he tossed it to Robby and he dropped it.
-
Walked right past the Daley, Paradis and Miller untouched
-
There wasn’t even a clean pocket all game lololol
-
He was being flushed the second the ball hit his hands. And staring down guys. He didn’t even have time to do that. Dude had OL being literally thrown into his lap like projectiles off the snap. Those with All-22 and can clip some gifs out of it are going to show some eye popping clips.
-
That’s the official stat on how many times Sam was pressured on his drop backs today.

First off this is Not a defend Sam thread. He did not have a good game At All. but Not Watson Not Fields Not Herbert Not even Mahomes would have won this for us today everyone always emphasizes the importance of a LT. but you ask any Coach or any QB what’s the easiest ways to shut down a QB and a offense. It’s pressure right up the middle. the only times in history TB12 has looked mortal? Defensive pressure up the middle (see Giants Super Bowl wins) the interior OL was mortifying today. It looked like a HS kid going up against a NFL DT. Looked dangerous at times the way they were being Flung around. No exaggeration at times, a sled would have been more efficient because they would have slowed them down. this team isn’t going to go anywhere until Miller/Paradis/Daley get replaced/fixed

Going to have some absolute Gem of some viral poo in it.

Can’t wait for the All-22 to come out. for the first time in my life. I saw a OG straight up get decleated. Looked like a small RB getting in the way of a massive DT. Our RG must’ve flown back 3 yards onto his back. the play was in the early 2nd. I don’t know what Deonte Brown did to Rhule or his family. But Matt has to let go of his grudge or he is going to get his QB killed.

Seachickens are potential wildcard spot competition

Cam Erving and Shaq Thompson are OUT. Christian McCaffrey is DOUBTFUL

I watched Rhule’s presser as well. And agree he didn’t mention this. BUT. The way those 2 separate beat writers worded this, it didn’t sound speculative. It sounded sure. IS set to. Set to. there is no May etc in their wording. Maybe they know something that we don’t. They have their sources. And maybe they know/heard something that Rhule hasn’t announced. -

So Brady officially starting? -
On a weather delay but the game is indoors!
-
Reminds me when they slid Matt Kalil as a high grade
-
Well 1. Burns ended the game with a size XXXXL jersey with all the holding. 2. A couple blown assignments In coverage. 3. Defense got gassed in the 2nd half after OL kept causing the offense to stall.

I get they see him more than us. But it was clear as day that he looked the better player in preseason. if he was coming out of App State and also the starters were playing solid, I could understand. But he came from one of the biggest factories in history and guys out of there come ready enough to atleast play early. In addition, our starters aren’t playing good. They’re struggling mightily. on top. If you remember when we first drafted Brown. Rhule was on record saying he needed to get down to 330 from his 350. Fast forward 2 weeks ago when someone asked Rhule about Brown, all Matt said is he was making progress and he was down to 330 and he needs to continue to shed weight
-
Deonte has to be in Rhule’s dog house for something. As much as he preaches “best 5 guys” while our our OL gets blown off the ball. And pushed backwards on short yardage and redzone. He continues to keep the only guy to generate push in preseason inactive

Here is the last time Sam saw Dallas
-
You start with DJ and Burns (I believe he will be eligible after this season). Then Reddick, Jackson (but don’t overspend on him). Then, depending on how Darnold plays start thinking about him, Sam will be going into his last year of his deal next year.
