I’ll actually agree here it’s been Dam Tight Lipped around here lately. How many saw the Reich hire coming. We weren’t finding anything really about these HC Candidates until it happened. There were rumors going every which way. Now it’s onto the QBs. I think its pretty obvious they like Young as does every team. there’s been “speculation” on Levis and ARich. and there is Cold Hard Video Evidence that the guy who will be coaching QBs here Loving Stroud. We got lucky to get this info from him doing a video series on film breakdown on these prospects a month before Reich was even interviewed here for the HC position. and Reich has already said in Ross conferences that he’s sat and discussed QB prospects with him. Ill take that over Kunkle saying he thinks another guy is a better fit because Stroud just had 1 good game and was throwing to open WRs (which of you watch the actual Video of McCown breaking him down. He’s not)

Kunkle in the last month has said - this isn’t a good QB class - there isn’t a QB worth trading for - CJ Stroud is the only Good QB in this class but won’t be able to trade high enough for him after the Georgia game - panthers would rather just take Carr than pay to go up. to now - they’ll try to trade to 1 And now -Bryce Young and Levis are the 2 who fit this team. Then going on there’s a gap between those and Stroud. Saying you have to watch the film on Stroud. And the Georgia game was his only good game. And he was just throwing to Wide open WRs all the time he’s literally the Skip Bayless “hot take” artist of the Panthers best writers remember his whole stunt last year to promote himself. Going all over the radio and Twitter stating Huge Breaking News that’s going to have Panthers fans excited that was going to be announced on his show.

That’s what I was referring to. And was left scratching my head with the fit part Because Young and Levis are no where near alike. And really Stroud plays closer to Young (who is their #1 guy) yet Stroud doesn’t fit nearly as much as Levis. One of these things is not like the other as far as playing style and fit. And it not Stroud or Young Stroud and Young are like Burrow and Brees. More PGs who like to spread the ball around. While Levis is a gun slinger who willingly takes off and use his body in the run game (hence why they compare him to Josh Allen) So how he’s the fit, we he isn’t similar at all to the other 2. Makes you question this.

@Verge what are your thought on Will Kunkle stating his sources have Young and Levi’s QB1 and QB2 then a large gap to Stroud at QB3 and they don’t really like ARich.

I think it’s a little of both. You think they don’t want to prevent these guaranteed contracts from becoming a thing? Some GM would lose his job if something happened injury wise 2 years into a 6 year contract. Some owner wouldn’t be happy when no one is showing up to games because your team losing while hands are tied to a player who isn’t even playing due to injury. Its business And let’s be real for a second How many Panthers fans on here would be throwing a party if we signed CMC to a 5 years 100 mil fully guaranteed contract going into this past season after the previous 2 injury seasons. Even though he had that 1k/1k season a few years prior. Lamar is a great player. Trading multiple 1sts, then paying him that much fully guaranteed isn’t smart. Lamar Already turned Down a 6 year 250 mil 160 guaranteed contract.

And “Depth” isn’t something you spend high valued picks on. Only teams who do that are the one who have their franchise QB, in addition to a plethora of other picks with hardly any other glaring holes.
