No Respect for the Panthers - What Cowboys Fans are Saying
hepcat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I live in Texas and went out to lunch yesterday with some co-workers and a vendor rep I'm friends with. All Cowboys fans and know I'm a Panthers fan. The general consensus was, and a I quote "I think we're gonna kill them". I heard "Worst 3-0" team mentioned. I mentioned the last time an undefeated Panthers team came to Dallas, they curb stomped the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and ended Tony Romo's career. One guy said "You're going to feel really bad if Dak breaks his ankle in this game". I would, because I like Dak, but I was just stating facts to some cocky Cowboys fans. This game will be tough for both teams and I expect it to be close. But if the Panthers pull out the win, I have some people to text right after the game. -
The Cowboys offense is very good behind Prescott. Without Horn, Amari Cooper could go off. I’m really nervous about the Cowboys moving the ball down the field with short quick passes like death by a thousand cuts to neutralize the Panthers pass rush and testing their tackling ability. This game is going to come down to Darnold. Protecting the ball, making big plays, and keeping up with Dak. I think he can do it even without McCaffrey. But he can’t turn the ball over. One lost fumble will probably equal a loss.

Wife and I bought tickets to the Patriots game on Nov 7, was planning to fly up from TX but we can't make it anymore. Section 503, Row 15, Seats 17-18. Overpaid for these seats on the first night they were available but I'd consider a reasonable offer to recoup something. DM me if interested.

Not yet but if this team continues on the track they started this season I will be very sold.

Let’s see how this works out for you. -
I think we all expected Troy Aikman and Joe Buck but to my surprise it’s Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen! To our surprise we should have a very friendly announcer crew. Looking forward to this game even more now with Greg calling it.

Their fans seem to think this will be an easy win for them
-
I bet he balls out. Players are more motivated to perform when the team is winning. Can't blame that dude for checking out because he was drafted by one of the worst franchises in the NFL.

Is this the best Panthers pass rush in franchise history?
hepcat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they surpass 60 sacks from 2013 or 1996, yes. -
If they are even remotely good, their fanbase gets high on their own sh*t more than any other fanbase. When they're bad, burn the stadium to the ground. That part, this fanbase can relate to!

Nah. Wish they’d found a way to keep Trenton cannon

Why do we keep trading our FA acquisitions?
hepcat replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Perryman didn’t practice because he was injured or just flat out didn’t want to. He was also vocally unvaccinated. Made a ton of sense to dump his ass. Losing Arnold stings but considering how deep the Panthers are at TE it’s not going to sting for long. Once Tremble gets more snaps I think we will see him emerge. CB was a big need after Horn went down. I don’t think the staff trusts Bouye on the outside. -
Who wants to play for a garbage team like the Jaguars in a sh*thole like Jacksonville? Henderson is probably jumping for joy right now. Dan Arnold is probably putting the Panthers on his sh*t list.
-
Fitterer came from the Seahawks, another team that had a turnstile of players on the offensive line
-
Agreed. This team was carrying 5 TEs out of training camp. When I saw Ian Thomas still getting a fair number of snaps I thought maybe Arnold would be a surprise cut. I don’t think the Panthers wanted to get rid of Arnold because of his play or anything, but I think it was just a value vs need thing. Losing Horn made the defense less dynamic and they had a chance to get a guy with similar traits.

What does the Henderson trade mean for Donte and Jaycee?
hepcat replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Reddick is getting a payday you can bet your sweet bippy on that. Rhule guy producing at a high level? The contract is already being drafted up. -

I dunno, not that Jackson is a bad player or anything. But I have a feeling this might be his career season. He’s been a bit injury prone in his career. Feels a lot like Curtis Samuel all over again. He could definitely re-sign but I wouldn’t be surprised if they let him go. -
Panthers Signing Rashaan Melvin to Active Roster

AJ Bouye is probably not in playing shape yet. He didn’t practice a lot in training camp either -

A broken foot can linger on for years so that definitely could be the case. This allows Jaycee the time to heal before coming back. -

Jackson to me feels like Curtis Samuel all over again. Injury prone speedster going to ball out in a contract year and signs a big contract elsewhere. -

Means more for Jackson than it does for Jaycee. Jackson either slides to nickel next season or they let him walk. Going to depend how Henderson looks this year. -
Bro the fact Fitterer got ANYTHING for Greg little is amazing
