It’s a growing year. It’s unfortunate the team won’t be growing with a young QB, but at least some of the other young players are getting developmental snaps. Losing Thielen was a massive loss for the offense, they needed his hands on third down against the Bengals.

I am optimistic because Canales actually seems like an NFL caliber head coach and Morgan seems to be a NFL caliber GM, which is something the Panthers haven’t had in a long time. I’m not optimistic because the QB situation is FAR from settled. But at the very least they seem to have finally hit on the administration.

At least the games are watchable but it seems like every time they take a step forward they take a few steps back somewhere else

He’s called this terrible defense all game. 15 yard cushions

They continue to call this deep soft zone coverage and the bengals continue to call button hooks to beat it and Evero has no answer. It’s pathetic

Dalton looking decent or not this franchise as a whole will always be terrible in some way or form

Too many mistakes. Offense won’t score another point

The defensive playcalling is brain dead garbage. It’s 3rd and 5 and the defenders are playing 15 yards off the ball before the snap. It’s like the offense decided to be competent so the defense had to pick up the slack

Both defenses decided they don’t want to tackle anyone

How on earth is Horn not manning up on Chase? This soft ass garbage zone coverage is embarrassing

The scheme is god awful, this soft zone coverage is terrible. Then the tackling is just embarrassing. Defense is bad.

Disastrous start, game over

One of my friends who lives in Swannanoa finally texted me back. Has only intermittent access to text. Says there’s helicopters circling around, saw one from the State of New Jersey. People are acting crazy and have a short fuse. He can’t leave because the roads are badly messed up. He had running water at least. Another friend in Old Fort is posting on instagram who doesn’t have running water. Haven’t heard from anyone else yet. That’s all I’ve gotten back. I still know dozens of people there.

I went to UNCA and still have many friends up there, visit frequently. Was just there in April. Haven’t heard from a single friend up there since early Friday. Makes me nervous.

I don't think they were there until training camp. Once Canales saw how limited Bryce was, he held him out of preseason which I think was a huge mistake either way, and then we saw how the first two games went. But I think Canales was hired with the intention to coach up Bryce which I don't even think Andy Reid could do.

If Dalton starts

I don’t see him on the sideline congratulating Dalton or being a part of the team. Is he just pouting? Does everyone hate him?

He seems like a good guy but not an nfl caliber player and it sucks because I called it from the beginning

Dalton was a pro bowler so I don’t think it matters either way

Jack Plummer is that kinda guy but I don’t think we want that guy starting

I mean if they had a backup worth a crap I’d say trade Bryce but I’d be surprised if Dalton can last a full season
