I thought the same thing about "meteoric rise", but it is a thing (as in a legit normally used term)! https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/example/english/meteoric-rise Think "sudden and brief" and maybe "brilliant"! It is akin to an oxymoron of sorts though, but not in the classic sense of the definition which usually involves an adjective followed by a noun (e.g., "Cam winning the Super Bowl with the Patriots would make many Huddlers feel sweet sorrow"). -

Hearing rumors is a totally different thing. I wouldn't expect my daughter to be advertising her business on IG either. I don't even go to IG much, but even I know that it's a legit avenue for models, as well as an easy means for girls who just want to show their assets, not that this is all it's used for. But if you have a legit business, you'd be better served by advertising on other platforms, and that's where I'd steer my daughter. -

Can't fault you at all for that! If it's proven that he forced sex acts, then he's got serious problems, but if these acts actually were consensual, they all have issues! Not the kinda people I want associated with me and mine. -

Questions and answers dealing with possibly complex matters can't be made simplistic with a simple "yes or no." But, would I now? Hell no! Before all this came out, if they were actually a licensed professional, why would I try to stop them? Get real! But like I alluded to, you can be what many would consider a pervert without being a criminal. -

You can argue the semantics of it all you like. Even some Huddlers figured that an investigation by the HPD would eventually happen. If what at least one woman says is true, then it was an inevitability! Buzbee was the one seemingly trying to hedge his bets on the police thing--for whatever reasons--and, no, his weak, unprofessional excuse about possible tampering was nonsense. Hardin has essentially said for days that they'd welcome any investigation because it actually unties his hands in some respect. -

Some of you are acting like you have no concept of "innocent until proven guilty." You're also rushing to judgment before all the facts come out! Watson could be guilty of sexual assault, or he could just be guilty of being a pervert, or he could be the victim of opportunists jumping on the bandwagon in order for a nice payday. Until the case is adjudicated, including examination and cross-examination of witnesses, and the introduction of any physical evidence (if there is any), Watson will be deemed as innocent. If you don't like it, then you must not like American jurisprudence. -

I don't think Hardin used the terms "didn't have any idea." I think what he's said is that Buzbee is using anonymity of the alleged victims--which is ostensibly meant to shield victims--in order to win in the court of public opinion before Watson can even properly defend himsrlf. He's even said that releasing the names confidentially would be acceptable so that he can develop a proper defense as opposed to being pigtied by a circus-like atmosphere. Of course if it can be proved that this woman (and other women) in this lawsuit were involved in consensual sex acts sex acts with other clients, that could have repercussions in the Watson case. So admitting that he had consensual sex could in fact help his case out a lot. The fact that the police have opened an investigation was really a natural progression of things, but it's not really some earth shattering event for Watson at this moment, and it doesn't speak speak to his innocence or guilt of actual criminal sexual assault. That's just the way it is! -

No, but I can imagine. I never knew that there were so many masseuses (wink wink) in the world! IG seems like an interesting platform to be advertising your massage services, but what do I know?! -
Zach Wilson is boom or bust and should not be started year one

I think they all would benefit. However, I think the most pro-ready ones are the two original top prospects, Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields. -
Per Rhule's contract (no plural), which I assume is somewhat Belichickian in nature from the sounds of it. He sounds like a reasonable guy with a spirit of cooperation (until he isn't) though.

It's important to remember that Florio isn't a criminal defense attorney, and from some of the things he's said, I can obviously see why. -

Public opinion does indeed have an effect upon court cases, regardless of what a lawyer intimates (though it doesn't have any official legal capacity). I don't know what you're listening to, but Florio was adamant that Watson was/is losing in the court of public opinion. He was screaming for Watson's party to say something as Watson was getting already getting killed in public opinion. Now they have, and I think it's a little disingenuous to say that it's backfired. I don't know when Watson or Hardin said that Watson has "no idea who the others are". Obviously they have some idea as to who some of them are, but they're really still precluded from taking any steps to contact them in any official (or practical) capacity in order to defend Watson at this point from a legal perspective. But, if this thing ever actually goes to trial, that's when these anonymous women, for legal purposes, will become known to the defense, and the defense will legally be able to cross-examine them. The "why so many masseuses" thing is not a legal theory. -

There is a term: Think like a lawyer! I'm thinking that you've never heard of it, but, that's OK, most haven't! -

Burrows has some athleticism to him, as well as a big arm. -
You're just throwing poo at the wall at this point.

If it didn't have any relevancy as you suggest, then I doubt his lawyer would be mentioning it. One thing for sure that does matter is the character of Watson and the character of the accuser to determine who the victim really is. -

There are many masseuses singing praises about his character and saying that they don't believe this. This is a long way from settled, much less over. All the defense has to do is impugn this woman's character/story, and this whole thing can swiftly turn into a house of cards. -
I would say he is above average, but I cringe a little bit at calling him high end. A high end talent wouldn't have overshot what probably would have been a game-winning throw in the Super Bowl.

I think what he is saying in a more roundabout way is that Fields and Lawrence elevated their team's talent, and with Mac it's more of the team elevating his lack of talent. In any event, I don't believe that most people would argue that any team's talent was on the level of Bama's, or as complete. Mac really was in talent heaven. -

True, but I don't think that either Fields or Lance lacks the mental acuity for the position. And when all is said and done, I'm betting the house on either of them before Jones. Just the way I see it.
