A majority of people on this forum could select 11 out of 43 players that can make an NFL roster and wouldn't have picked a fuging long snapper in the 6th round. We also only have 15 of those 43 players from the last 5 years on the team so it's not like we need more time to evaluate 28 guys that are no longer here. 5 of that 15 is from the 2024 draft. So from 2019-2023 we have 10 guys to show for it. You cannot build depth by drafting like absolute dog poo

The biggest problem isn't that we aren't drafting pro bowlers it's that we aren't even drafting back up level players. We are only at 25% picks that belong on the NFL the other 75% of these picks aren't even special teams level players.

Since Tepper bought the team we've made 43 draft selections before this last draft. Of those 43 only 11 I would consider guys that should be on NFL rosters, not even starters but should be on teams period. Of those 11 only 4 are good to above average NFL players. Brian Burns correcting me if I'm wrong but hurney pick Hubbard picked by Matt rhules wife Derrick Brown this was Hurneys last first round pick right? Jaycee Horn - the one pick fitterer/Morgan made that looks like a pro bowl player. Problem is they picked him right in front of first team all pro at the same position.

Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.

Id say week 11 or 12. If we have 2-3 wins max by that point you play hooker the last few games and then he'll play well enough to not draft a QB and then hooker will start next year and be totally ass then he'll be pulled week 11-12 and rinse and repeat. The Panthers will never be a respectable team again as long as tepper is the owner.

They were 12-4 2 years prior and 8-8 the season prior to the plug literally intentionally being pulled and we were awful for ONE year. Cam's take was annoying and wrong and Smith was rightfully upset. Hurney was a below average him but he could keep enough talent on a team and add to it to get it right every couple of years. This team is devoid of talent and hitting on a draft picks or two won't save us now. Dropping rookie Cam Newton on to this roster would honestly not look much different than Bryce. We have below average NFL talent because we have well below average NFL talent evaluators.

Your stance is completely wrong about the Smitty Cam argument. That group wasn't use to losing, that group had 1 awful season because we had no talent at quarterback.
