Best case long term may be losing in the play in and getting gifted a top pick that the hornets definitely deserve. That said I'd rather them make the playoffs because these guys are talented enough to beat any team 4 out of 7

Yeah we need to be above 40 if we are going to jack up so many trees, which is the way we want to play. If they get to the playoffs and are shooting well look out. I think best case for the hornets is 43-39 which is close to worst case for philly and Orlando so the hornets would have to beat both of them down the stretch to get tie breakers and try to get in the 7 spot. The loss to Miami pretty much ended hope of the 6 seed.

Soccer and college bball today

I don't think it's a step back. They hung with us on 3s and they won in the last few minutes. When the hornets shoot 50% from three they are butt fuging other teams. It happened against them and they still had a chance to win the game

Id like Evans from Duke in the draft as a shooter for the second unit. And probably a more athletic big to replace all, he's good but doesn't really fit the style. White, Evans, green, Williams and center tbd is a pretty good second unit

Kon made a couple really rookie plays before burying a few 3s in the 4th. If that LaMelo three goes down they probably win. I think he played starters too long in the third and fuged up the rotation in the 4th a bit. Going to be tough to finish above the Heat now but this is a fun team to watch glad it was on local tv tonight
