  1. Since Bosa set the rate for a top notch pass rusher at 34 million a year. Burns is not at that level yet and may never be. If Burns demands 30 million a year, should they give to him or not? If his agent won't move off that amount, what should they do? Force his hand and try to tag him? What do u think?
  2. This isn't about the "the one who shall not be named", but a general question. How do you feel about the whole 'holding out while under contract' scenerio. Shouldn't the player honor the contract signed? Or try and renegotiate without the threat of a hold out? Opinions please
  3. Hasn't it been the policy if no practice on Wednesday before the game, then you don't play.....could be wrong.
  4. Say's nothing about Carolina being involved at all. Pure speculation and wishfull thinking. I'm not buying it
  5. F.R. says he doesn't know if Burns will sit out the opening game or not. If he doesn't know, that sounds like it may be a strong possibility until contract is signed. This may drag on into the season. Zero pass rush is a hurdle no team can win with.
  6. Coach says he doesn't know if Burns will sit out the Atlanta game. What kind of sh*t is this? Burns has said he won't miss time, F.R. doesn't know if he actually will show.
  7. Shat or get off the pot. Find someone now and do what you have to do. Can't scheme around a lousy pass rush.
  8. Then why is he sitting out team practices a week before the opener. Wonder if his agent got in his ear. Money can influence many things, especially if negotiations aren't going well.
  9. Nobody knows exactly why he isn't practicing, best guess it is contract related. Don't know anything about his agent. Bosa hasn't signed either, but he is at a different level. Injury concern before the contract is negotiated? Being a hard ass and seeking to much $$$? If he does hold out, who plays? Don't need these problems a week away from the first game.
  10. Then straight home to the toilet for two hours.
  11. They aren't making the playoffs this season. Let's hope for a decent showing and learn from the inevitable growing pains of a totally revamped team. 2024 is the year to bring it all together.
  12. From what I have seen so far, it appears to be the Saints. Carr may light it up over there. The Falcons are 2nd in line. Running game will be improved. Hopefully we can overtake the Bucs (if Mayfield shats the bed). Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Bucs.... Don't see playoffs this year. The fun begins next season with a few more pieces and a year under Bryce's belt. Wat u got?
  13. I like u 2 Only opinions that count are yours obviously
  14. True. His bailout options if Sanders goes down are nil at running back. Chubba has proven that....can't catch a cold.
  15. Jeez....didn't know that. Some good news. Let's hope he stays on the field.
  16. No word at all on his status. With his past history, I would be leary of having confidence in him to say healthy. Hammys can be problematic. They just traded for a speedster, but he is not a #1 receiver. So what to do? Wide receiver by committee? Doubt we will get the guy we need waiting for cuts? Can they succeed with what they have? Hope this doesn't come back to bite them in the ass.
  17. Most of them sucked. They can find better quality after cuts obviously.
  18. Trying to cut the malignant cancer out.
  19. They will have to eat money if they cut Thomas no? I like Ricci as a third TE.
  20. They thinned the herd of JAG's at each position. I guess the plan is to upgrade by picking guys that they evaluate as having more upside then what they let go. Most will be older or late round picks. The Fitz must be drinking pots of coffee and juggling papers to get this all figured out in two weeks.
  21. How many seasons do we need do need to see that he is not great out of the backfield....he never has been.
