Need Oline here.........
-
Before the draft I said 6 or 7 wins is possible. I have adjusted my opinion to 9 or 10 wins (or more), A possible wild card if everything goes right (no major injuries and some player's pan out). The offense will be fun to watch and dangerous. The defense will be improved and no longer bottom dwellers. The offense needs to play to it's potential and the defense needs to be at least average and not a sh%t show. Let's see who else they bring in (UDFA's/ Free agents and if they can free up some cap room.) Dan did a good job so far in both the draft and FA. I have faith in Dave to get these guys ready to compete every week. This season should be fun to watch.

PFF: The Carolina Panthers are having an ELITE draft…
Jmac replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dan was made for the GM roll. Hard ass ex-player that knows what it takes to play the game. Doesn't make foolish moves and plays to win. -
Yay or nay.... I say yay. What you got?

I think they had their eyeballs on Tet all along and where hoping he would fall to 8. This draft is stacked on the defensive side of the ball. They knew if they could grab their guy without giving up draft capital, it would be a win. They have a plethora of quality defensive players left to choose from. Happy they didn't pick Walker. Undersized and really didn't put up the numbers worthy of a high pick. Time to pick the guys you want on defense and start building on that side of the ball. Add another Oline guy late in the draft to keep stacking the line. I will be happy with that scenario.

Round 1 - Panthers Select Tetairoa McMillan at Pick 8
Jmac replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
This team is looking at 6 or 7 wins if people stay healthy. Small steps towards relevance. The saying "Rome wasn't build in a day" pertains to the Panthers. -

Sanders isn't that special. -
No more Greg Hardy's please. Not in the court room or on the suspended list. We need them on the field.

Oline and Dline are the most important parts of any team. Without that you aren't winning sh%t. -
Panthers aren't a clown franchise.

Add A.T to the equation also. Maybe old, but still ballin.

CMC is (was), a great player. Between the injuries and father time he may very well be done. It is what it is.

Panthers agree to 1-year deal with RB Rico Dowdle

Even better reason to sign him. Their Oline sucked, QB out, load the box and he still ran for 1000 yards. 26 years old and potential for another big season. Brooks may never be the same. Good job -

Two 1000 yard running backs behind a stout oline, and the possibility to get another good one in the draft down the line. Bryce on the upswing and things looking much better. Spend most of the draft on defense and then bring it on. -

Asheville High.........welcome home -
Not a JAG in the bunch so far.
-
If you look at their previous performances, they will make a notable difference.

Compared to the guys that had that job, I am impressed. Sticking to a gameplan and building up a good Dline. Not over spending when possible and mostly 3-4 year contracts. We will see what he does in the draft. Good job so far
