  1. Canales trusted Bryce to get 1st downs on critical 3rd downs. Bryce decided he was a running QB. Go check out the ALL 22 and see what Bryce missed and how open the play call was on those 3rd downs. Canales trusted Evero to win the game if Bryce and the OL couldn't deliver 1st downs. Seems this is the way you want a HC to maneuver a team with the lead in 4Q. If the QB can't execute the plays and decides he's running it, and the DC can't call a defense to stop a rookie QB, you can't put it on the HC.
  2. Do we keep forgetting that the HC should pick his QB and DC? Bryce and Evero are holding Canales back, and we can't judge a HC who has shown promise with one arm and one leg tied behind his back. Evero and Bryce were Reich picks, but I think we all know Tepper forced them on Reich too. I'm not sold on Canales, but I see enough promise to want to know what he can do with his QB and DC.
  3. Tepper needs to let his vision of Evero and Bryce go. Let Canales work with Morgan to choose his own QBs and DC he can trust.
  4. Lamar Jackson (32nd), Jordan Love (26th) , Jalen Hurts (53rd), Jaxson Dart (25th), and Tyler Shough (40th). The Panthers could have collected all of them over the years and additional picks for the same capital they gave up for Bryce Young (24th (DJ Moore), 9th, 1st, 39th, and 61st picks). Worst investment in Panthers history.
  5. Like the QB sneak we needed, or that 1st down we needed him to power through, or the 3rd down we needed him to convert with his arm because he's fragile against a defense stopping him short? That QB is going to win big games? Do you not watch NFL football and what QBs need to do in those situations to win? Tyler Shough did it. Why couldn't Bryce Young with receivers who were getting open? Go watch the All 22 to see what Bryce missed
  6. If we're relying on Bryce to be a running QB who can't sneak the ball when we need him to throw the ball and keep a drive alive with his arm, we need a new QB. No worries. The Panthers will blow out the Bucs, lose to the Seahawks, and then blow out the Bucs. Then they lose in the home playoff game to cement the 2025 Panthers as the Inconsistent Cats.
  7. Can't blame Canales for trusting his QB and DC. They need to be replaced.
  8. The Panthers are who we think they are. Inconsistent cats and the bulk of the inconsistency is on Bryce and Evero. Others have a share too, but we can mask their shortcomings. Canales can't trust Bryce or Evero with his playcalling. Canales needs to make calls that can beat their issues, beat the refs, and beat the opponents defense.
  9. He's an all pro guard playing LT, and his 5 and 7 step drop pockets with singling up a prime pass rusher tells us that every time
  10. Inconsistent Cats. They prove themselves to get to the playoffs or we move on from Evero and Young
  11. Ekwonu on skates in pass pro with more than a 3 step drop. Roll outs or play action to save us from that pass pro. Or give him and extra blocker to help
  12. Bryce was giving himself up and the defender never tried to avoid the hit. No penalty?
  13. Canales needs to pull out some of his 4th down passing play designs now
  14. We've seen that many times for the past 3 seasons and the 1 with Denver. Denver got rid of Evero so they could win.
  15. That's the Evero defensive play calls we all know and love. He has the players to make plays, but he hangs them out to cover in his patented bend, buckle, break defense
  16. I think its the Panthers against the league office in NYC for the remainder of he season and post-season
  17. He's trusting Evero when he makes that 4th and 1 call with a QB who can't QB sneak
  18. I'm sure having a tiny QB who can't QB sneak or power for a 1st down on 3rd down when he runs has nothing to do with missing on that series
  19. No Saint even played Bryce on that 4th and 1. Bryce shouldn't be in if you never sneak him
