We knew this was coming defensively with an Evero defense. Many said Canales needed to score 30+ a game to even be competitive

Defense wants their TV time. Racked up 6 minutes there

Fire Evero first. The offense has been putting up 20+ 1st downs a game. Canales doesn't have the ability to call a ball control or field position game with this defensive play calling. We'll see if Canales corrects the offensive play calling to the flats. Washington is giving them up and the RBs can't get 1 yard on a swing pass. TEs can't be trusted.

Worst defense for sure. Still going to be Evero defenders too. Offense has been converting 1st downs with Dalton. Running game struggles to consistently convert though. Need to start winning in the flats in this game to open up the defense to push the ball down field. Comes down to the RBs and TEs making the defense pay in the passing game.

You realize the offense still gets 8 to 10 drives a game, right? You see that the running game can't consistently win?

Washington is taking away deep routes, crossing routes and running between the tackles. They are leaving both flats completely open. Challenging the RBs and TEs to win with the swings, screens and sweeps. Hubbard and Sanders can't get it up field by beating 1 defender. That has to be won to break the Washington D

Not sure why everyone keeps calling to run the ball. Evero gives up 30+ a game. You have to attack deep. This run and short passing game isn't possible without a good DC who knows how to consistently put his players in position to make plays
