The expectations are different between the two. I don't think or expect Brown to be our next great WR or even a #2 for that matter. I don't think most people here do either. But there's no harm in giving him a chance to compete. Obviously Gettleman isn't settling if he's offering a contract to Greg Jennings. Brown was a UDFA who did come up big for us at times last year. He didn't put up a lot of stats but he made crucial plays. Hill is a 2nd round draft choice who has nearly fallen off the map. But hey I would like a guy with his measurables to succeed here too.

Maybe you shouldn't be so negative. Brown is a grinder who came up big for us last year. 4.51 isn't slow and doesn't mean he can't contribute. If every 4.3 guy was a deep threat in the NFL then every team would have a deep threat. He might forever be a limited WR. But he could be a guy that sticks around for a long time. One that could fill in to start if needed and build a safety valve report with Cam.

If Hardy gets suspended for 12 games he wouldn't have been worth resigning anyway. We would have lost too much money for him.

I love me some McCoy but the Murrary contract was still dumb. He doesn't do anything overly exceptional and you're likely to only get 2 good years out of him before you consider replacing him again. Stewart is better by the eye test in my opinion.

Someone tell me what good Drew Brees is ? For all his volume stats it means nothing for all the times he's crumbled in crucial moments. He doesn't strike fear in anybody. And all of you guys know what I'm talking about. Maybe it's because we are divisional rivals with the Saints but Brees does not scare me at all.

If you don't want to accept that then that's fine because the Panthers will continue to beat the poo out of your worthless team regardless.

Lets stop crowning Brees for five seconds. When the refs don't fug us we straight up own his ass. He doesn't deserve to be a hall of famer. I dont trust Crabtree. He might be just good enough for us because we have KB but to me he doesn't seem like someone to rely on. But with Ginn back it could make an all around good WR core.

I think it's a smart move for the Eagles. RB's don't last that long and you don't want to throw more money at him when you could just as easily trade him and address a need. Then fill his role with cheaper options.

I think Cam will get his. But will also consider the team in his contract. He's been playing with a crap o-line for most of his career because the cap space isn't there. He's smart guy that probably understands that.

Cam deserves every right to pass on a Kap type deal. He has proven he is better and can carry an offense. Colin is a flawed QB where Cam is more complete despite his issues.
