  1. My ideal trade pieces would be Shaq, D. Jackson, and Anderson. Teddy as well.
  2. Just hoping we can keep Burns and CMC
  3. Yeah hell no. Would rather lose CMC than both BB and Brown.
  4. Seems to me the Patriots are trying mimic Cam's best results here by getting him a deep threat and two TE's. We only had Olsen and Shockey for one year but we threw all over the field that season. They are at least doing right by Cam's skillset.
  5. Our odds of getting Curtis back just got better but I do believe him resigning makes Anderson trade bait. Curtis has reached his floor and his ceiling is at or above DJ if he is truly that special. I’d love to have him back if we can.
  6. Well the 03 team had more talent and depth. Cam carried the 15 squad on his back with Ted Ginn as his best WR. The only thing better about the 15 team was Cam, Olsen, Luke(Respect to D. Morgan), and Josh Norman. Cams out performed Jakes stats pretty much every year he’s been healthy. You say you don’t rank QBs on running ability. So Cam still beats him in passing. Also, it’s not really on Cam to not run the ball and play pocket QB just to prove an arbitrary point. I’ve never understood the notion that he had to play like someone else to show he was worthy. If Jake could run like Cam, his passing numbers would be worse than they are. What I will say though is that Rivera took the quickest route to success and overused the RPO to Cams detriment.
  7. Not true at all. Cam became a clutch QB before his shoulder injuries. He made key plays. His arm beat Seattle, NE, Saints, Eagles in prime time. He did make overthrows but Jake wasn’t any better. His magic was his ability hit Smitty, and then he got complacent and exposed when he couldn’t rely on him. Once he had Tommy John he wasn’t reading the field as well as he used to and he couldn’t force the passes like wanted. Jake was great in 03/04 but he also had the element of surprise and just enough talent and moxy to get the team to win through fox ball. If Cam was on that 03 squad they’d be undefeated. Jakes best performance as a leader was in 04 when he legitimately maxed out his abilities to turn the team around. That Jake might have an argument over some Cam seasons, but Newton in his prime? No contest.
  8. Not saying you're wrong. But he's decent enough to create another hole we have to fill should we cut him.
  9. Can we please add a laugh react as a pie type feature?
  10. Jake was legitimately a good to great QB for about 3 seasons. He was clutch. That is the one factor that Teddy lacks and what makes him a terrible option for us. Seven opportunities for game winning drives and he failed. I'll say though. Jake was a liability in 2007 and 2008. He had flaws the whole time, but tommy john wouldn't let him make those plays anymore.
  11. Shame the NFL had to cheat them to give Peyton Manning his retirement trophy.
  12. DJ's very underrated. When its all said and done he may be the best most accomplished WR in Panthers history. He's had a great start.
  13. Hope Chinn pick 6’s him and stiff arms him into the turf as the last play of his career.
  14. 3 1st rounders, 1 second round pick, CMC or Brian Burns, + Shaq
  15. That would be amazing if they would take it though. Deshaun has the leverage though if he refuses to play then it may cost less than we think.
  16. It may not cost as much as we think if he's going to refuse to play. Definitely multiple firsts. But I'm hoping we don't have to lose both CMC and Burns.
  17. I think with Rhules ability to get his guys to overachieve we can succeed without multiple first rounders. But getting Watson and losing Burns, and CMC, or Brown, plus picks would a big gut punch. We have to be able to keep Burns or CMC or the loss is too steep.
  18. The game has become so athletic now that I don’t think overtrading is worth it but Watson is a really good blend of natural talent and QB skills. I’m sure he would want to play with CMC. So I think you either package some firsts with Burns or you bite the bullet and trade CMC and then resign Samuel. But you don’t trade both of those cats. CMC has a shot at the HOF and Burns is the best pass rusher we’ve had since Hardy.
  19. It’s just amazing that Miami would trade for Watson after just drafting Tua. This is a new NFL,
  20. So long as we keep one of Burns or CMC I think we’ll be alright. This stuff about trading two firsts with CMC, Burns, and Robby Anderson is wack though. That only works if we get picks in return as well. I’m talking multiple second and thirds.
