Richard Sherman may leave before the Superbowl is over

Let's all stop guessing and go with historical data. See: Tim Brown 2003 Super Bowl -

You need to tune in to the "Real Housewives of the NFL" instead of "Soccer Moms of South Charlotte" and let me know what you think then. -

I'm not really a Sherman fan, but I hope for his sake he doesn't have to make that decision. I do truly believe he would stay for the game. But I also believe he would live with a certain amount of regret for missing his child's birth. -

No, I agree. I was suggesting more that she wants to make sure he knows without a doubt she's the one he should marry. Forcing him into making a decision over the birth and the SB could interfere with that. To us it's an easy decision - go to the birth. Then again....none of us have ever played in the SB -

She's his GF and not wife. She's going to say AND do the right thing to change that. Edit : lifetime financial security is most important thing here. -

Neat story - I've been hearing about it. I think it's pretty close to a 0% chance he would miss the game. She's also been interviewed saying she wants him to play and that she's not going to let him know until after the game if she does in fact go into labor during the game. -

Does anybody think there is a more douchebag thing to post than comments like these? I see them all the time and I can't help but think how stupid the person is who writes it. It's the new "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" A couple of things.... *I'm an American talking about sports and events that are relevant to us in America. The WC final doesn't touch the SB here. *I also originally said the SB is the greatest "show" in sports. Formula 1 and the WC aren't a show nor do they have anywhere near the hype and production that the SB does in America. *If you're so into Formula 1, WC, and Cricket....why have you not started threads in any of those sections of the Huddle. Is there even a such thing *If you want to start a "biggest dick" argument please refer to any of the Russell Wilson threads. -

A regular WC match doesn't generate the revenue that the SB does. The average ticket prices aren't even close to the SB. So....no. -

I was using what is applicable to us in America as a frame of reference. I'm sure the Cricket Championship is a wonderful event for those in New Zealand and India, but it has close to zero to do with anything we can about in our sports world. -

Please tell me one single soccer match that generates the kind of press, money, and interest that the Super Bowl does. -

Superbowl over hyped to the point of nauseum

I agree with this. There's no reason for it to be on Sunday just because games are played on Sundays during the regular season. Last year was a good example....the game was a blowout and instead of staying at the party I went home and stopped watching. If it was Saturday I would have stayed out and kept watching the massacre. -

My point is that it's two teams that you probably not only don't give a poo about, you more than likely can't stand either one (at least that's how it is for me). So of course hearing about them for two weeks is annoying. However, if you're a fan of either of those teams then watching all the hype for two weeks before the game is awesome. So don't poo-poo other fans' experience because it's not your team - just watch something else. The Super Bowl is the greatest show in sports - it's not broken. Well....except maybe the difficulty for fans getting reasonably priced tickets. But you gotta pay to play in the big game....or just watch it at home. -

I loved every minute hearing about the Panthers when they were in the Super Bowl. It was all I heard and thought of the whole time and it was wonderful. The Super Bowl itself is a great show and an awesome time. Sounds like you're just being a sourpuss to me. Just turn the TV off- 79 replies

How much less could you care? -
I'll go ahead and secure the whole section behind the Panthers bench while I'm down here. I bet I can get them to even put in blue seats. I mean...it's not like they'll have to remove any season ticket holders to do it. Sent from my iPhone

Someone on here definitely said that. I don't think that's possible. I just added tickets two days ago.... Right next to my other ones. Sent from my iPhone

My Bucs ticket agent : "you need to hurry and buy these or else you won't have any options in the lowers" Since then I've called back 7 times....that's SEVEN...to add tickets to my group and every time I get seats connected to our originals. That place must be empty. Sent from my iPhone
