Please quote where I was outraged. I simply summarized the people's story since there were some questions about what happened. This has nothing to do with me other than I know those people. You demanding that I for some reason provide a "logical counter" to your nonexistent issue for its removal seems like you care about it. This isn't my battle to fight. But yes, I do care about friends being wronged for no reason. It's all been corrected so /discussion.

“This isn't exactly the first time” You realize I/we have nothing to do with this, right? This is a longtime fan upset because they were wrongly told to remove their gameday tradition of 22 years.

I have no clue what you are talking about or how this is relevant. I can't answer for them why they “need” their sign, or why that even matters in this situation.

The point is that they and the sign are compliant and have been for a decade, so it is confusing why all of a sudden it was an issue, especially when the team shares photos of them/the sign all the time. The couple just posted that the team called them, said it was a mistake to ask them to take it down, apologized, and said their sign is welcomed back. So, yeah, guess they had a good reason to wonder why they were told to remove it out of the blue.

I didn't post anything on Facebook nor did I "crash out" on anyone on here for having opinions about it. I just shared their story since there were some questions about what happened to them. It is cute that you think I am somehow bothered by your comment or the ridiculous things this team does. I've been dead of any emotions for this team and critics for many years. The irony in being called that by you was too rich to not mention though.

From my understanding, the rule states that nothing can be secured to anything in the stadium. They have leaned the sign on the railing (they're in the front) but haven't ever secured it to the railing. There hasn't been a problem with that in 10 years. Sunday they were told to take it down and also told they weren't able to hold the signs in their laps.

Short version = these people have had those seats since the beginning and haven't missed a game. They have always had their sign. They had to change the sign - I think in 2015 when Cam ripped that Packers fan's banner down (love him for that, by the way) - to be compliant and haven't had any issues in the last 10 years. The Panthers even used a photo of them and their sign in their album from the Falcons game. In the 3rd quarter last weekend it was decided that the sign needed to come down. Seems weird and unnecessary, especially since it has been there for every game for a decade. EDIT: they've had it since 2003. Still a long-ass time.... Also "cringe" is a funny word for someone over the age of 18 who lives and overshares on the Huddle. But, ok....
