Marty had a 0% chance at a new contract if Will Grier was the QB. He wasn't going to survive a tanking season -

Listen to what Tepper says in that interview - the dude cant hide anything. He said (paraphrasing) that he wasn't as close to some of the decisions early on as he was learning to be an owner and that's on him and now he's more vested in those decisions. Translation: he let Marty fool him with TB but fug that poo from now on -

We love to blame Hurney for every bad move the Panthers make but for some reason we attach Teddy to Rhule and for the life of me I cant understand why. It was such a desperate move and only one person in a decision making role was desperate. -
Yes, man, both organizations did a terrible job. That's the whole point.

But Cam was intentionally a major part of the run game. We didn't think the Panthers didn't have a run game (most years) while Cam was here. Johnson literally retired early because they were the only options in a terrible franchise. So are you arguing that the Lions did a good job building around their franchise QB? Because the only point my post was making is that they didn't. I'm not arguing who had more weapons.

I'm not comparing Stafford vs Cam’s weapons. I'm comparing the similarities in the two poorly built franchises. Stafford’s weapons may have been better but they weren't good. They've had one 1K rusher and terrible Ds Edit: outside of Megatron there isn't a star on your list. And the RB list is a joke. Coaches are bad too

Does one WR help turn a franchise into a winner? Real question: do you think the Lions did a good job building around Stafford?
