Hey Huddle -
Popping in to share some info about our Second Annual Kickoff Jam. It's September 14th at NoDa Brewing. Here are some bulleted details:
- Panthers Legends: J Stew, Mike Rucker, Captain Munnerlyn, and current RB1 Chuba Hubbard
- Music: Moon Taxi, The Nude Party, Simplified, Cutty Cutright, and Deaf Andrews
- We added liquor this year (was only beer last year) if that is your thing
- Four food trucks
- Play area for kids or big kids too (Charles Johnson spent three hours playing in last year)
- We added a "music pass" this year to make the cost of entry and little more affordable ($39.00)
- Special NoDa brew "Kickoff Jam Session"
- 704Shop onsite with all of their new 2024 football themed gear
It's the day before the home opener against the Chargers so all hope won't be lost yet, so if any of you are in town or are coming to town, come check it out. Here is a link to the site with more information
See some of y'all there.....

Would’ve considered going to Germany if it was the Chiefs as rumored a year ago. Giants I don’t think so
The opponent dictates whether you’d take a trip to watch the Panthers in Germany? I mean, they even have a (small) chance of beating the Giants.

Lets hope for Giants or Cardinals
Those seem like good possibilities, especially as they have been conference matchups over there.

FYI….it’s not the Chiefs.

If you have the means to travel then the game is secondary to the overall trip.
This could be at the tail end of Oktoberfest which could be cool too
Oktoberfest ends 10/6. Germany games have all been in November. Munich isn’t capable of handling those two events at the same time

I definitely thought the Falcons’ ONE TD was an insurmountable lead

Same page, brother, but I will repeat this: I was not referring to the last offensive stand--I was referring to the second FG at the beginning of the 4th quarter. So that nullifies what you are saying-I agree with you 100%, but it does not address my point accurately. Now we need to run the table...
Oh, yeah, overall only kicking FGs and not being able to score TDs is absolutely pathetic. That game, even a W, was painful to watch. I was just referring to the last series and taking a FG vs trying to punch it in.

TDs win games too--what we want to see is a system that believes in the players and does not play timid. The difference between 1 and 2 wins in a season is not that important to me, to be honest, because neither wins were impressive--neither seemed to be building towards a brighter 2024, in my opinion. We scored a total of 24 points in both wins (both chip shot FGs at the buzzer) and we scored 1 TD and had 6 FGs. Yes, I celebrated the win, but wishing the team to be more aggressive and go for TDs does not suggest that anyone was rooting for them to lose. I was disgusted by the lack of aggression when the Panthers settled for the second FG.
Yeah, I want to see that too. But in that particular instance, as pathetic as it felt, there was no reason to give the ball back to the Falcons with a chance to win, when you could run the clock out and win the game. Trust me, I agree that neither win makes us feel like theyre turning the corner and showing promise, but punching in a TD just to make the D have another stand to get the win doesn't make sense. Take the win.

poo is so bad we have people wanting to see a TD over a win.

The Panthers won’t hire a new coach until after the season. Really no need to make a move at GM until then. If they do fire the GM we want them to bring both in at the same time, not the GM now and the coach later.

In general? Not a lot given our desperation teams know we are flailing. Mid rounder maybe. But I'm not in favor of a straight up swap for a player his own team can't stand. If we want to take a risk on Jeudy we can do so without trading a player who isn't a locker room problem whatsoever for a guy who could likely end up being another Robbie Anderson.
I would imagine they’re more willing to part ways with a player who doesn't seem to have much of a role in this D or the future of the team than comparable draft capital

I saw this thread title and cringed before clicking it, but it was nowhere near as brutal as I was expecting. Nice.
I see you V @Gapanthersfan .What's up man? I didn't know you subjected yourself to the madness in this place.
Now I just need to figure out who @Newbie is and we can plan a Boro reunion at Old Town.
