I'm moving the goalposts really?? I'm not coming up with 18 criteria or 30 reason why this and that happened.. The primus stays the same for me.. Players have gone on to other teams and had success even when they sucked on the original team that drafted... Taking a low risk move on a talented that sucked on a different team has been done and worked for other teams... I'm not adding that this guy only threw 4 passes for the original team.. Meaning he sucked so bad he couldn't even get on the field for that team.. But Greenbay with little tape traded for him and Farve succeed... I'm not adding on stipulation to why Steve young and Doug Williams got better getting away from Tampa... Coming up with criteria for this that is goalpost moving..

Really 1 first round pick is a big difference?? Well there is a difference in age and more prime playing years as well.. Stafford is 8 to 9 years older.. Do you think that might alter the compensation a bit??

I choose to believe getting a player coming off a major injury to his throwing arm was a risk just as much as finding out if a once thought of top 5 talented pick could be developed with better coaching in a different situation.. Both are similar risk.. You can have your opinion and I can have mine...

You can believe what you want.. Facts are it has happened before it wasn't a outbound plan and so far it hasn't worked for us. Whelp Hopefully it works next time we try to resurrect a player.. Like many other teams have done in the past..

How many criteria are you going to come up with to make a point . Does it have to be on every 3rd sunday in August on a leap year for it to be similar situation?? The point was that it has happened.. I can come up with outlier for anything... Tannahill, Brees , Warner with the Giants, Delhome with the saints.. Alot QB have gotten different scenery and produced at a new team... The point of acting like it a unheard of plan is false..

At this point let's agree to disagree.. You're not going to convince me that taking a low risk move on a talented young player is bad move.. You were convinced a player is what he is after 3 season in a terrible situation.. I wasn't.. You were also convinced about Jake Delhome in New Orleans as well I guess..

Right but it's not because he doesn't or didn't have 1st round talent... CONTEXTS we know now that KB likes to eat and doesn't work on being a better player.. We didn't have those clues on Sam.. Sam is younger player with no questions about effort... The problems he has is something every coach "thinks" they can fix.. Coach Crum had a old saying.. "Give me the athlete and I'll teach them how to play basketball " Most if not all good coaches think this way... In reality we didn't risk alot to do exactly what many coaches and football teams think they can do... Get a talented player and coach them up to their potential... That's what they were planning to do.. Cmac getting hurt, Oline not getting better and now WR dropping easy passes thrown that plan out the window...

That's all we can do.. No matter how much they hurt me I can't give them up..

The Oline and Wr deserve some big blame to... So does the injury prone star of this team.. Example.. Derrick Henry covers up alot in Nashville..
