Yeah he gave up at least 1 sack and 2 pressure and he missed the block on whitehead on Cam’s run play.. Wasn’t great but context it was his 2nd start in a rookie season of switching position all year..

Which is something you want your GM to do... The fact the GM was able to get what the coaches want while keeping the salary cap in good shape makes A GM good or bad.. The fact we know Fitt did his job while serving 2 masters (HC, Owner) and fielded a team that we all feel should be better or (what's the reason to be as disappointed as we are).. Is more reason why thos thread is dumb to blame Fitt for this mess and not Rhule and Tepper...

Waste of my time.. I've given you multiple examples and multiple reasons while you come up with absolutely nothing just naming teams that have been for years given the HC final say on the roster.. You haven't name 1 GM with a scheme or philosophy that drafts for their system instead of coaches.. You haven't name 1 GM who picks players cuts after training camp ends.. You haven't name 1 GM that runs the who is active and who is not on game day.. So where is the GM that has total "control" over the roster??

Every team... I didn't say Tepper didn't have roster say.. I'd said Coaches usually have final roster say.. And most if not all GM'S (Except Gentlemen) get players that fit there coach desired philosophy..

We literally saw the video.. Rhule had a few favorites.. Tepper wanted Olinemen.. And Fitt found ways to get those players.. You don't think that happens in most if not all organization.. Example.. Cardinals GM draft Rosen.. Hired a new coach .. Coach wants his college QB.. They drafted Kyler got rid of Rosen.. Same Gm.. It happens in every organization.. And the teams you named are some of the coaches with the most control.. That's what's funny.. Didn't the Gm in Tampa draft Jameis ?? And when Arians couldn't work with him.. That same GM got rid of the QB he drafted.. Who has the final roster say??

Tomlin makes that decision because he could have bench Ben weeks ago.. He also could have drafted his replacement 2 years ago when they traded up for a MlB..

And finally who do you think decided who makes the team and who doesn't the coach or the GM?? Isn't that final roster say?? Literally TC camp cut day is final roster say.. Who decides who gets cut most of the time??

Coaches have a philosophy and scheme tell the GM this is the player type I need to fit my Scheme.. The Gm and his scouts find players to fit that scheme.. The Gm doesn't tell the coach no you need to run a different scheme and I'll draft players to fit the scheme I want you to run.. When has the latter happened..

Okay.. To end this.. Every coach has a Philosophy and scheme.. Example.. Pete in Seattle like long man cb.. So they draft long man CB.. Name me 1 GM'S philosophy and scheme ??

Nothing saves a GM job more then drafting a New QB. And Pittsburgh had 2 chances to get one and they went with the HC (Tomlin) who still had faith in Ben and added more to his defensive philosophy. Pick another team..

Example.. Instead of going after a QB 2 years ago... Tomlin wants a Mlb.. Colbert trades up and gets him a Mlb.. Last year .. Tomlin talks about having a strong run game and taking pressure off Big Ben.. They draft a 1st round RB...

He picks who plays right?? Do you think Colbert doesn't talk to Tomlin during the offseason and Tolmin has nothing to do until training camp??
