  1. This defense is different when Shaq's on the field, plus add in Gilmore. This can be a special defense.
  2. I've been a big critic of his play. But he definitely has toughness.
  3. The most important place we need to add talent is at the QB position. Can't believe you guys are in here comparing Sam Darnold to Dak Prescott. How many games did Dallas win last season after Daks injury? Oh but it's the system and Oline there, yea right.
  4. We won 5 games last season with lesser talent and played one fewer game. How could 5 wins possibly be an improvement. The reality of the matter is the defense has improved but the offense and special teams are going in reverse. The offense is especially concerning because this coaching staff decided to put all of their chips in with Sam, and neither his past performance with his former team nor his play this season shows any merits for making that decision.
  5. Sam's a better Qb than Dak but the Panthers are holding him back. Yep think I've heard it all at this point.
  6. If that Watson trade had gone through we would have been a bonafide playoff contender this season and as long as you're in the dance anything can happen. The defense is good, they would be even better if they were able to play with leads and not constantly on the field due to 3 and outs. Both Watson and McCaffrey have put up MVP caliber seasons before behind not so great offensive lines. And I know Robby's gotten fat and lazy DJ Moore's making business decisions apparently. But they were one of the best 1-2 threats just a season ago.
  7. This season apparently wasn't about wins it was about the reclamation project of the Sam Darnold, and Rhule and Brady's ego to prove their coaching chops.
  8. By the first half you'll know. You know we ain't scoring anything in the 3rd quarter that's a given. So if the offense hasn't done much by the end of the 2nd you can bet not much else is in store.
  9. Yes atleast the running around will be more entertaining. Outside of his dirt balls PJ had 1 throw in his 2 or 3 series that looked better than anything Darnold did all game.
  10. I'll rather watch PJ run around than watch whatever Darnold was doing against the against the Giants last game.
  11. They probably thinking "if only we can get Jonathan Ogden and Orlando Pace to block for Sam on the line he wouldn't be so jittery and keep throwing it to the other team."
  12. Oh well. Still good to know we have an owner and front office doing everything they can to improve the team If the offense stalls against the Falcons maybe PJ can get put in sooner and we can see what he got.
  13. I think CMC might be gone, ugh.. He was unexpectedly put on IR when the injury was initially deemed minor 2 to 3 weeks. Zod recently made a random post lauding the exploits of Chuba Hubbard. Anonymous sources are alluding he's included in the trade package. Bummer if true, I wanted his skill set paired with a bonafide top 5 franchise QB while he's still in his prime.
  14. Dang well can we atleast get Tua. Our offense is unwatchable at the moment. We need a quarterback.
  15. No QB is, but question of having a playmaker at the most important position like Watson or the offense looking like it did last Sunday is a no brainer.
  16. I'm not comparing the names on the jerseys, I'm going by the rankings and last season the Texans defense was horrible.
  17. Our defense is one of the best statistically in the league, with Watson we would have the better Qb on the field most Sundays. Two 1000 yards receivers when we have a QB that can read defenses and get them the ball. And the best Rb when healthy.
  18. Panthers defense is way better than the Texans defense which was one of the worst last season.
  19. He didn't think Cam was going to be a good Qb coming out of Auburn and stated Gabbert was the best prospect and then Cam came out and set the league on fire his rookie season and Bradshaw was sore ever since.
  20. Donald inherited two 1000 yard receivers when he came to this team and he can't get the ball to them. He threw for 111 yards last game, how much building does he need? A probowler at every position to succeed. If we got Watson this oline will look much better than they do now. They didn't look this bad last season with pretty much the same lineup.
  21. We had #1 draft picks prior to 2003 and we were a middle of the road team until a journey man player emerged as our franchise QB and led us to the Superbowl. We had #1 draft picks prior to 2010 and was the worst team in the NFL prior to drafting Cam. Moral of the story you need a QB to win in this league if you have a bonafide franchise guy you have a better chance than most at winning
  22. I'm on board. QB is a glaring need on this team and we have a chance to get an elite QB still in his prime. Go for it.
  23. Those same moral police consumed the NFL product even though Roethlisberger was able to play out a full hall of fame career and win Super bowls. Morality shouldn't stop at your favorite team. If it was really about morals you would distance yourself from the NFL completely.
  24. Nah I don't have any faith in this coaching staff selecting the right rookie Qb or developing him. Heck they thought they could develop Sam Donald, I'll rather get a proven vet like Stafford or Watson. You saw a vet like Teddy even with his limited physical skills mask their incompetence to as we were competitive in a rebuilding year. Now this season we're getting blown off the field by 1 win teams.
