  1. Agreed I felt Canales was leaning too much on the passing game at first. But Tampa buckled down an neither back got going, the carries were almost equal and both held under 30 yards. Rico had the longest run of the day for running backs with a 13 yarder and Chuba had 10 yarder not much more beyond that.
  2. Many have already said it, he gave himself up and refs blew the whistle.
  3. His snap count is that for a reason, he's had one good game this season against the Rams. What's silly is trying too discredit what our 1000 yard back has done this season when our season was in the dumps at 1-4. If we make the playoffs we need both backs and no Chuba shouldn't be starting
  4. Chuna won't be the starting running back if we ever win a Super Bowl that's for sure. Has he hit 500 yards yet?
  5. Yeah Miami did us no favors benching Tua with 3 games left on the season. What was the point of that.
  6. Any given Sunday. Tampa has lost 6 of 7. There's no guarantees
  7. No, you have any other evidence besides this? Rico - 9 carries 29 yards Chuba - 6 carries 27 yards
  8. Special teams has killed us today. And that boneheaded play could of cost us the game. That unit has been terrible the past few weeks
  9. NFL is registered as an Entertainment company akin to WWE with the Federal government, unlike the NBA which is registered as a Sports league. Probably why the NFL betting market is ten times that of the NBA but all the gambling enforcement it's always associated with NBA. Now do I think there's some all seeing force behind the curtain predetermining games no, but calls are slanted the league executives are human (ratings) the referees are human (gambling, or whatever motivation). Thursday night Tampa was celebrating its 50th anniversary in the league all of its all time greats were in attendance. Falcons had 19 accepted penalties for 125 yards most occurring on crucial 3rd downs or when Baker was sacked or Tamps needed saving. Tampa was flagged 4 times for 25 yards, in a game Atlanta was clearing dominating so much as they still won the game. Kirk Cousin was flagged for intentional grounding when a hands to the face penalty clearly occurred on him, on a night Falcons were flagged with about 4 or 5 hands to the face penalties. So whenever the human element is involved there's always a chance for bias.
  10. You got me there, Expecting Ransom to pirouette mid air to avoid grounded man is a tad more difficult I guess.
  11. Gymnast are 5"3 for a reason and not 6"3 220. How do you attempt to avoid someone you've already committed your body to tackling, do you know how hard it is to bring a 6"5 (Shough) grown man to the ground in full stride.
  12. Not a player within ten yards. I dont think Bryce is to blame for the Saints loss but if we look to upgrade the Qb position I won't complain.
  13. We are near the bottom in 3rd down defense this season and this past game against a 3-10 Saints team whereas we couldn't even get off the field on 3rd and long situations illustrated that.
  14. Dowlde was wide open, as RG3 pointed out check down is a good play in the 2 minute offense.
  15. If Raheem Morris is let go from the Falcons I wouldnt mind getting Jeff Ulbrich as defensive coordinator, Atlanta was about as bad as us at rushing the passer last season, now they have one of the most aggressive pash rushes in the league under Ulbrich in 1 season. Give me an aggressive defensive play caller any day, if we give up some big plays here and there ill live with that than the death by a thousand cuts Evero defense.
  16. Coker is a good player, name recognition doesnt change that fact. Tight end room definitely needs an upgrade to take this offense to the next level. Wouldn't mind upgraded from XL also.
  17. The speed of the moving parts when he dropped to the ground the defender was already lunging forward to make a tackle.
  18. It's a garbage play and we all know why the league wants to "protect" Qbs so much. Can't hit em high, can't hit em low, protect them as much as you want in the pocket, but once they break the line of scrimmage and become a runner the bubble wrap should come off. I'm surprised a defender hasn't torn a ACL coming to a sudden stop trying to not touch a player running full speed a split second ago.
  19. Absolutely no diffence in the sudden slide from both Qb's both were going full throttle and deciding to bail as the defender was engaging.
  20. If the Saints had Shough starting all season they'll probably be leading this division. They clearly have the best defense of the 4 teams. Their offense was the problem early on which better QB play of late has improved that.
