  1. And the same 10 years later, talking about drafting a 3rd round QB. Congrats!!
  2. I like the moves thus far. Nothing exceptional but worth noting Oline is better, front 7 should be better with one more move. Those alone will better our WR and Secondary. We need that final front 7 piece and a good draft to be thinking better than last year. Anything above +5 wins is on Young, flipside anything -5 wins is on Young.
  3. Just us with full schedules, apparently.
  4. Congrats you bunch of air heads, officially hit "Rookie" after reading 11+ years of your pointless posts! Except for that one post, that you did 8 years ago, that changed everything. Remember that one?!

  5. Drinking, saw two submit buttons, hit both. My apologies.
  6. That's probably true, still holding hope for Clowney. Though, the difference in value/price isn't much different.
  7. Let's get this done, even if we overpay slightly. Worst case, we go into the offseason on paper better than we did in the trenches than we did last season. Make some good draft choices and surely, we can win more than two games.
  8. Still, nobody cares other than a bunch of free timers, on talking about drafting a QB. How many times have we drafted a QB in the third or later and they pan out to mostly nothing? Most of the time. But you might have a lot of freetime so I understand.
  9. No, the grade is indicative of did Carolina's actions to make them better. There are numerous scenarios that could have been procured differently via free agent and trades this offseason than what has played out. Did Carolina make their O-line, front 7, receiver core, and secondary better with the pluses and minuses? Losing an all-pro DE/OLB and not replace that is an impact. Also, replacing sub-performorming OL with true performers is an impact. Of course I didn't come up with the C+, although I will not disagree with it at this point in the offseason. For us to move up into the B's, I need a better DE/OLB and a depth signing in secondary to solidify that grade. Our offense is about as good as it is going to get, minus some last-minute signing/trade/cut at a minimal contract exposure, before the draft. Defense could use two legitime pieces, pre-draft.
  10. C+ is close but we are two steps away from a B. They grade us low because we weren't willing to pay Burns top DE/OLB money and traded him. Because of this we were able to spread that cap space out and improve our O-Line, starters and depth, and our Front 7, overall. We addressed where it matters this time, by unit and in the trenches. We remain thin at WR/TE, CB/S, and Clowney(?). There are some good CB/S remaining in FA, snag one of these at a minimal exposure and Clowney and I like were we are good going into the draft. There's not much left at WR/TE in FA that I see would upgrade us much, unless one were emerge through a cut/traded last minute. I think we will have to go into the season with two mindsets: 1) the O-Line is so much improved that it improves all other aspects of the Offense (likely), and 2) Mingo, Marshall, Tremble, Johnson, and the 2024 draft pick creates so much of a improvement/competition that a long term answer emerges, outside of AT. Like many of you, if you establish an O-line like we have now and have a former #1 QB draft pick, a WR/TE should elevate to the top out of that group.
