I’m overreacting. It was his first NFL game ever against one of the toughest assignments in the NFL. He’ll get better, but I agree he is better suited for guard right now (and maybe forever).

Only 5 of the 11 picks came in the first four rounds. Just because we had 6 picks in the last three rounds doesn’t mean we should expect more than a typical late round value.

Roster and Salary Cap are better off. That translates to a job well done by the GM, so far. With that said, it would have been pretty difficult to put us in worse shape in both when he came in.

I’m a big fan. Look at our roster now versus before he got here and we’re better in most position groups.

Glad someone mentioned the Panthers subreddit. I didn't know it existed. I like visiting the Huddle, but will not continue to if the inappropriate ads continue to be a thing. I assume he’ll be lined up in backfield nearly as much as the slot. Watch the video on him posted earlier and I think you’ll warm up to him (especially for a 6th/7th)

In reworked deals like this, I always wonder if some of that money arrives under the table. I know the 49ers would get crushed if caught, but why would a player in his position do that?
