  1. Theilen clears after this season imo
  2. I don’t want him to be cut. I’m hoping he’s the heir apparent at slot.
  3. Who of these guys is he playing above? TMac, XL, Theilen, Coker If none, then he’s WR5 at best. I can see Renfrow also getting PT before him, especially if his hamstring issue lingers. So what’s best for the team? Roster Horn as WR6 or keep him stashed and use that roster spot elsewhere?
  4. We don’t disagree on Theilen’s outlook, but he’s getting more PT than Horn this year. That feels like a near certainty to me. That’s why I posted we should stash Horn somewhere that will save us a roster spot but also keep him under contract.
  5. I’m not saying you’re wrong on what would be best for building up our young core, but I doubt Theilen returns if he wasn’t going to be an important part of our passing attack. He would’ve retired if he was going to be WR4 or less imo.
  6. For a roster spot. I could see our WR room consisting of TMac, Theilen, XL, Coker, and Renfrow. Theilen earned his playing time last year. Unless he’s regressed a lot this offseason, I expect he’ll be targeted 5+ times per game early this season.
  7. We don’t need him this year. Put him on IR for the year and let him study behind Theilen and Renfrow. Next year, he may have a legit shot at playing time.
  8. Didn’t see this mentioned, but sounds like Evero’s initial thought was Scourton will back up Pat Jones.
  9. Maybe so. I don’t think I’d trade our WR room for theirs, but there’s so much unknown with our group.
  10. Rice, Worthy, Royals is a good young core.
  11. We’re paying the price for restructuring Moton this year. It would be extremely timely if we hit on a young tackle next offseason.
  12. He signed a two year deal in March of 2025… https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-agree-to-terms-with-tommy-tremble-tight-end-free-agent
  13. What would we send? That would be the deciding factor for me. I don't mind it if we don't give up too much to get him. He has no guaranteed money beyond this year.
  14. Interesting. So we could gain an additional ~$2mil cap space if/when he's signed to another team for that offsetting amount?
  15. Cheers OP. I wanted TMac to be the pick and was so excited, and surprised, when his name was called. Last year, I wanted one of the Xaviers, Worthy or Legette. So Dan has been delivering on my wish lists. Now I hope it pays off over the next few years. With our trade up last year into the first, we could have a dynamic WR duo on cost-controlled contracts for 4 years.
  16. When Brooks was drafted, Hubbard’s contract was ending and the only guy we had locked up was Miles Sanders. That’s a need. Positional value can be argued for first round RBs, but taking who many thought was RB1 in the 2nd round is a smart move. From my perspective, you’re taking the bad angle as well as being negative. Sometimes the cookie crumbles with bad injury luck. Unfortunately, that’s difficult to predict. If we didn’t roster anyone who’s tore an ACL, we’d miss out on a lot of quality players.
  17. It’s only dumb bc he injured his knee again. If he had come on last year and looked like a poor man’s J Gibbs, it wouldn’t seem dumb. Hate it worked out that way for the guy and really hoping he works out and can stay healthy this time.
  18. Way to find something to complain about during what’s looking like a successful draft. Cheers
  19. Check our contracted WRs for 2026 and you’ll see a huge need.
