  1. I would attack it with a hybrid BPA approach. I’m sure most NFL organizations do. Create tiered lists of players. Generational/HOF potential All Pro potential Pro Bowl potential Average starter potential Borderline starter potential Depth role player If you have only one player in the highest tier available, select him as BPA. If you have multiple players to choose from in the highest tier remaining, factor in positional value and team needs.
  2. Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
  3. To clarify, I’m not saying Bryce has been top 15 to date. I think he will be soon and will remain one for a decade if we continue to surround him with talent and OL support. Last season, his 3rd, was undoubtedly the best core of receivers he’s had for a season, and it featured a rookie and 2nd year UDFA as the top two. It’s coming. We’re building it. Time to arrive soon. Obviously, if he isn’t solidly top 15 over the next 1.5 years, we’ll be looking for a replacement.
  4. You wouldn’t have guys like Trevor or Darnold on this list if you made it a year or two ago. What happened? They matured in the league and know how to successfully operate an offense now. Bryce is approaching that now and we’re actually surrounding him with talent. He’s been better each year. We did him no favors his first two years here, be it terrible coaching or lack of talent.
  5. Have you noticed a change in our competitiveness since we pumped money into our OL?
  6. I think Bryce is about to become a top 10-15 QB for the next decade. I also think we’ll sign him to a reasonable deal compared to some of these monster contracts QBs have been crippling franchises with lately. I’ve developed that much confidence in Tillis & Co.
  7. Added context: we have to pay for 6 starting OL this offseason due to Icky’s injury.
  8. RFA tender? Didn’t he get traded on his rookie contract? That wasn’t an option, right?
  9. Wish we would sign Cherelus. He flashed on defense more than Incoom/Gipson
  10. 3rd round raw, but physically gifted EDGE, needs time to develop? That’s the way it plays out most of the time. It’s pretty rare for a 3rd round EDGE to dominate from day 1 in the NFL.
  11. Lost a starting LT to injury. Tough break Lost a very replaceable starting C. We still have a starting RB and add back a 2nd round pick at the position this year. LB will obviously be addressed. We’re final three for Lloyd. No need to fret about this on Day 1 of FA. This top overall free agent EDGE was so “severely injured” that the Eagles, who had eyes on him for much of the year, wanted to resign him. Only turd that needs polishing is your perspective of your favorite team.
  12. You realize we were one of many NFL teams trying to get him signed, right? The Eagles, who know his medicals better than anyone, were desperately trying to resign him. Hope that helps ease your mind.
  13. -Panthers worst in league in total pressures -Panthers sign best pressure rate defender available -Panthers (some) fans meltdown I do appreciate the many logical fans (like NcPsa10) who see the common sense approach in this signing. The $ is high, but that’s the going rate for a difference maker these days.
  14. I believe the data points to EDGE defenders hitting their prime right at Phillip’s age.
  15. I’ll gladly admit if/when I’m wrong, but I don’t mind calling out the constant negativity. A select few in here are so consistently pessimistic, you’d think they were trolling fans of rival teams. We’re young in key areas and won our division. Made the playoffs in Dave & Dans second year getting after it. It seems we’re building it the right way. Just tired of seeing all of the complaining. Find something to get excited about with the franchise. There are plenty of options to choose from at the moment.
  16. We’re going to undo our Corrall mistake and bring Sam Howell home, aren’t we?
  17. Why extend Hunt when he barely was available this season?
