  1. Jalen Milroe is going to be running routes at the combine
  2. He ran past two Bucs DBs on his 40 yard td catch I don’t know what those two guys were doing and the Bucs had a lot of people from the stands in the secondary yesterday.
  3. I think this is actually pretty interesting and worth a serious discussion. Looking at the teams Bryce has played since his benching, almost all of them are bottom third in the league in total defense. Three notable exceptions: broncos, eagles, chiefs. In Denver he had a good opening drive, broncos said “oh that was cute,” made adjustments, and then the offense vanished until the fourth quarter when the game was a laugher. eagles he got completely shut down all game until a couple of dramatic throws in the fourth. That game was really more about the defense playing out of its mind. Gonna come back to the chiefs. What he’s shown is that he doesn’t throw interceptions, and against bottom third defenses, if the panthers defense does its job he can keep it close enough so that someone else can win it, whether that be Chuba or Daniel jones. another exception here is Dallas who destroyed him, but I think that’s just Micah parsons being that good and Bryce having no idea where he was coming from because he’s not doing much of anything at the line pre snap. the chiefs game is such an outlier. I think the chiefs are massive frauds in general. I think the panthers are one of the few teams that can neutralize cris jones (who should be DPOTY or the award doesn’t mean anything), and the panthers had two weeks to prepare and threw everything they had at KC. Bryce defenders point to this game as the end all be all or whatever, but then the next logical question is what do they think about Aiden O’Connell who just lit this team up the next week? I dunno I kinda think the chiefs game was just a complete outlier where a ton of panthers had the best game of their lives against a team that probably wasn’t taking them very seriously. Just like the teddy bridgewater game in arrowhead. so yeah, based on this very cherry picked sample size, against the worst defenses in the league Bryce can limit interceptions (not fumbles) and keep it close enough for Chuba to win it in overtime. and then once a season he plays out of his mind.
  4. allen didnt even think he'd end up in the pros until his mom told him during his last season that he should start thinking about being drafted. he was just out there in wyoming hurping and durping it
  5. He literally did. His qb rating went from 71.9 in 2021 to 92.6 in 2022.
  6. Yes. that’s what “turning” means, especially with the gift of hindsight. it’s weird to actually see the term applied correctly, as opposed to the huddle currently where it means “over the last nine games if you look at these seven and extrapolate them out to a full season and do a regression analysis of every play that SHOULD have been made and include them you have a top 20 player.”
  7. that 1999 defense Jesus Christ Washington just scored again
  8. Bryce could be checking down to nightcrawler and he’d still be 15/27 for 184 yards bryce defenders would be screaming that we can’t judge him until he’s handing the ball off to juggernaut.
  9. Darnold was literally turning it around here. And that was WITHOUT McCaffrey
  10. What are you talking about beurlein was 7 years older in 99 than darnold now, and that panthers team was 8-8. Plus the offense didn’t really go insane until the second half of the season, and still ate poo against a blah Steelers team in week 15 or 16. fuging Fred lane fumbling on that opening drive at the goal line Minnesota is a good team top to bottom and has been all year.
  11. The panthers would need the NFL equivalent of the MONSTARS to compete with Bryce at qb.
  12. I don’t disagree with what you’re saying. I just think it’s bizarre to look at this disaster and focus on the one part of the passing game that functions. the main problem with the Bryce offense isn’t “explosive potential” from the slot or whatever.
  13. Yeah thielen in the slot is what’s limiting Bryce’s explosive potential.
  14. Who’s going to? We’re talking about darnold doing what he did yesterday against one of the best defenses in the nfc, not how the Vikings defense is going to do in the playoffs. Take your adderall try to stay focused please.
  15. A game that got their DC fired. In 2023 they were a bottom five unit. this year they’re a much better unit. Going into yesterday.
  16. Darnold did this against the packers. What harder defense is he playing in the NFC? Philly?
  17. A suggestion so pitiful it speaks for itself
  18. Reading this it’s funny. He played LB and WR his freshman year and USC was like “yeah sure.” Switched to qb? “Yeah sure.” shades of Alabama recruiting eighth graders as “athletes” and worrying about the position they’ll play later.
  19. I don’t know about the multiple positions things, as far as I know he always played qb in HS. He did play multiple HS sports and played them WELL. he was a top baseball recruit too which isn’t really the norm anymore. Bryce for example spent every second from middle school forward in elite invite only qb camps. Darnold just didn’t have a lot of reps at qb when coming out of USC, then went to an awful situation, then went to another awful situation. But he was clearly putting it together at the end of 2022, that saints game not withstanding. im not saying 2023 panthers San darnold would be the same as he with the Vikings. I am saying rolling with the 2022 team absolutely has the panthers in a better position any way you look at it than the ongoing bryce disaster.
