Quarterbacks win championships
GoobyPls replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
A great QB like Mahomes makes you competitive year in and year out, but you can win a championship with a good team and average qb -
His arm talent is better than anyone in this class minus Richardson, but he’s a much craftier passer than him, his release is faster than anyone in recent memory l. He was at his best when his top 3 WR aren’t injured and ole miss had the number offense in the country, he only started running a lot cause they had no options.

Corral is as talented as the top QBs
 -
He got rotator cuff surgery after the 2016 season, I remember in 2017 he rarely passed downfield, I think he had less than a handful of completions over 40 yards that season. In 2018 if you watch the Amazon series you would know his shoulder was fine until the the bucs game (he played good vs the lions following the Steelers game).

I feel very strongly about this... Derek Carr.
GoobyPls replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Carr would have us in purgatory, he’s not a legit franchise QB. I would rather roll with Corral -
Huh??? Did you even read my previous post
 -
I’m not talking about strictly measurable I’m talking about the on field product.
 -
He’s closer to Malik Willis then Cam
 -
I guess it was just among hiesman finalist
 -
I mean Urban, Day and Tressell all notoriously run super QB friendly systems that have not translated into the pros. Outside of Conor Cook and Russell Wilson a OSU QB has won The Greise-Brees award in the last 13 years, and before that Pryor was making all big 10. What was the last time a OSU QBs struggled?
 -
It has worked out well for every OSU QB in college.
 -
Both played in gimmick offenses. I just read a stat Stroud threw it to his first read more than any QB in the nation
 -
The problem with the officiating in the game was that it all went one way. The chiefs held multiple times, it’s wasn’t called. Burrow got hit late and it wasn’t called, Chase got interfered with and it wasn’t called. Meanwhile the chiefs were getting everything

I know Colts fans came to dread Reich but I think he’s a good coach.

Watching Jalen Hurts sort of hurts.....
GoobyPls replied to YourLastThought's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’s improved a ton as a passer, I still don’t think he’s the type of QB that can carry a bad team -
Mahomes is insane and that last play was an Andy Reid special
 -
Injury didn’t ruin his career, he just wasn’t very good. And It seems like Lamar is at odds with the team. They haven’t said anything about him having a grade 3 mcl
 -
I rather keep Zane, his leg is stronger. I still have little faith in Eddie when it’s a long FG in crunch time
 -
One of the best passes I’ve ever seen
 -
	Packers for Rodgers

Do the Bears trade Fields and draft QB at 1?
GoobyPls replied to *FreeFua*'s topic in Carolina Panthers
How am I wrong I provided links you have nothing but “hurr I watch the games” Fields is a terrible passer by every metric. And since you defend every OSU QBs than any Florida player one would think you are a fan boy. You even want us to trade our best player to make Fields look better lol -

Well you defend these overrated Ohio State QBs like you are their mother. Every Fields thread you make a comment without hesitation. -

Look at your post history you thought Fields was the greatest thing since slice bread now you think Stroud and Young are on the same level (they are not remotely close), you probably were on the Haskins bandwagon Either way Fields is one of the main reasons the bears have a terrible pass game -

Lol you are a Ohio state fanboy with zero objectivity Bears are second in pass protection win rate and are middle of the road in time to throw. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34536376/2022-nfl-pass-rushing-run-stopping-blocking-leaderboard-win-rate-rankings-top-players-teams?platform=amp Fields holds the ball way too long and still having major problems with processing speed. He is not a good pocket passer at all
