    ​DeAndre Presley was signed even later than Hill, wasn't a WR in college, didn't participate any off season and beat him out for a roster spot when needed. I heard funny story about Hill, rumor has it the jets knew we has terrible 2 weeks into OTA, apparently the UDFA rookies were out performing in practice, jets kept him on the roster not to look like complete fools for drafting him.

    ​Meh 5'10 180 pound whose more quick than fast at best he's Welker/Edelman, but those guys stayed healthy and played in a offense that's perfect for them. Bersin won't probably see the field next year (no injuries). Hill couldn't beat out Webb last season and the QB from Appalachian State, IDC if the panthers had no intention, they also had no intention of Bersin and Philly starting, when your needed and cant beat out former QB's that's saying something. Just cause these guys play for the panthers doesn't make them automatically good.

    ​Nobody wanted Cotchery outside of us and the Steelers who wanted him at less than 1 mill a year. Hill couldn't beat out a QB in the practice squad. Bersin and Philly are two UDFA with limited potential and even with them starting our offense still struggled last season. I don't hate them I just don't they're really that good. Why do you ask? You think they're something special?

    People in here arguing about Hill, Bersin, Cotchery and Philly LMAO, I wonder if any of them would even be in NFL rosters if it wasn't for the panthers. Here's hoping Kelvin, Funchess, Olsen and Ginn are enough for the passing game to be successful

    ​in just 4 years I'm willing to bet Cam has taken more hits than Ryan has in his entire career. and if you look at sacks per passing attempts, Cam is destroying Ryan in that category. just give it up Cam has had less help in every facet of the game yet he accounts for more of our offense than Ryan does for the falcons

    ​What happen 13&14? Matt Ryan = Matthew Stafford. Any QB can put up big numbers with the weapons Ryan has had, and yet Ryan only puts up big numbers vs bad defenses and in garbage time.

    ​Ryan never lead, the NFL in yards, td, passer rating or completion% so no he he has never put up elite numbers. Ryan has had an arsenal of weapons better than any QB in the league and not even one all pro team. if you look at his stats the last two seasons they come in either garbage time or vs terrible defenses. Mean while last season alone Cam sat out 4 4th Q and missed 2 games.

    Every falcons fan knows Cam is better, Cam has had a terrible supporting cast almost his entire career, give him Julio and Roddy and his numbers would be crazy. Ryan has had every thing handed to him on a silver platter and he still can't make the playoffs or put up elite numbers.

    Why are people bringing up Russell Wilson? With that same logic I could say Draft Cam 1, Cobb in the 2nd, Houston in the 3rd, Cameron in the 4th and Sherman in the 5th.

    I'm confident in the D being top 5. The offense on the other hand, a lot of unknown.

    If we go into next season without any deep threat again expect our offense to struggle again. We need Ginn or Philly to start and have Funchess move around. We can't let the opposing D to stack the box

    As far as weapons go I don't think we're close. And if Oher plays like he's been playing the last couple of seasons Cam is screwed. Dilfer brought up a good point, if our o-line is terrible again a big receiver like Funchess is going to be useless.

    How do I know? I watch college football. He's all those things better than Kelvin yet he was drafted in the second round and never came close to Kelvin's production in CF.

    Oh lord everyone knew he was hurt and believe me he's not a 4.4 on the field. He was a poor mans Kelvin pretty much the opposite of what we needed. I won't doubt he has a productive seasons, I just feel there was a better option in the first round.

    How about we try going over .500 this season. That's what's wrong with people like you, your giving this team way to much credit for going 7-8-1, we are still a very flawed team that struggled to beat a injury ridden Cardinals team that started the worst QB in the NFL. But I already know once the season is on it's way and the offense shows a slight struggle you blame Cam and the coaches, like every other huddler trying to defend the FO. If the panthers took the same approach the Colts, dolphins or any of these other teams with young QBs took, then I'll say Cam has to step and has no excuse. Right now that isn't the case
