  1. Not sure if that’s really high sticking but regardless, Martinook needs to be more responsible with his stick.
  2. I imagine that would hurt anyone, not just a rookie QB.
  3. Have to be better in our own end if we are going to make something special happen this year. Guys can’t be afraid to ice the puck if necessary.
  4. I’ve been waiting for third line Noesen. I always thought he’d do well on a strong forechecking line due to his ability to quickly get shots off in what I like to call the clusterfug area.
  5. I would have tried to include Chinn and settled for D.J. Since we are switching to a 3-4, I think Burns and Brown are keepers.
  6. You might be right but I just mean over the past couple of games.
  7. Player A because of: - Very smart signal-caller who is a natural leader with great instincts and the ability to quickly cycle through his reads. - Rhythm passer, who gets the ball out quickly, making split-second decisions. Not saying that Young doesn’t also possess these traits but as McCown lamented in his film study of Stroud, a couple of his strengths are his ability to go through his reads really quickly and control the LOS. In my opinion, if a QB can cycle through his reads quickly and make split-second decisions then he’s already set himself up for success, a good QB coach offensive staff can coach up the rest.
  8. I completely understand why de Haan is sitting for Ghost and why Coghlan never sees the ice (thank God), I don’t however understand why Stastny is sitting for Stepan.
  9. Interesting lines. Seems like one scorning line: Jarvis - Aho - Necas First checking line: Martinook - Kotkaniemi - Teravainen Second checking line: Noesen - Staal - Fast Fourth Line With Potential Drury - Stepan - Puljujarvi
  10. I have to wonder if Cam would still be in the league if his personality was more like an Andy Dalton, Teddy Bridgewater, Colt McCoy, or Joe Flacco. With Cam you get his very vocal personality, his social media presence which includes his Twitter and Podcast ventures, and just overall someone who seems to have much more going on than just football. I don’t see teams choosing that over a quiet, low key, mentor QB like Dalton. In addition to changing who he is, I feel like Cam would have to be content with working as a backup and waiting for an injury or poor play by the starter. At this point in his life I don’t see him being willing to do that. My personal opinion is that most franchises would prefer their backup QB to be out of the limelight and I don’t think that’s who Cam is.
  11. Honestly, who cares if Verge is wrong, it’s easier (and quicker) to simply ignore a thread than to type up some dick response. Add NFL mock drafts to the list of triggers for the world we live in.
  12. Rangers Lines Forwards Panarin - Zibanejad - Tarasenko Kreider - Trocheck - Kane Lafreniere - Chytil - Kakko Vesey - Goodrow - Motte Defense Lindgren - Fox Miller - Trouba Mikkola - Schneider Goalie Shesterkin Not having last change is going to make this difficult. In a perfect world, I feel like you want Staal against the Tarasenko line, Kotkaniemi against the Kane line, Aho against the Kakko line, and Drury against the Motte line. The reasoning is that Teravainen, Staal, and Puljujarvi should be able to neutralize the attack of the Tarasenko line; Jarvis, Kotkaniemi, and Fast should be able to wear down the older Kane line; and Aho’s line would get their best matchup against the Rangers kid line; the fourth line is a wash. We’ll see what happens.
  13. Did not know this but henceforth I’ll be calling coach, Pastor Frank and I hope he baptizes opposing teams with many touchdowns.
  14. Interesting that Thielen’s wife and Dalton’s wife are acquaintances and that Dalton at the very least being the backup factored into Thielen’s decision should the rookie QB, God forbid, not pan out.
  15. Seems like Reich is really looking for that deep threat at the WR position. If the Panthers don’t land Chark then I wouldn’t be shocked if 39 was Jalin Hyatt.
  16. I’m not blaming Pool Party for Aho’s slump but I do think it was daft to put him with Aho. I get the Canes were looking for some World Junior Magic but it takes time for guys to adjust to our system. I do think the lines as they are currently constructed, give us the best chance to win. Martinook - Aho - Necas Jarvis - Kotkaniemi - Fast Teravainen - Staal - Puljujarvi Noesen - Drury - Stepan
  17. If we can get through these next five games with five points or more than I’ll be happy with where we are.
  18. Marks really did his thing tonight, you have to wonder why he wasn’t playing earlier.
  19. Yeah it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
  20. Team looks good tonight, Lattanzio saved his job… for now.
  21. Hahah yep, Canes fans bringing good luck to Florida.
