  1. Stastny picks up a point in his first game centering Svech and Necas. I think I’d keep him there and go with the below when fully healthy. Patches - Aho - Turbo Svech - Stastny - Necas Marty - Staal - Fast Noesen - KK - Jarvis
  2. I do miss me some Tony D though, he was a great Cane.
  3. Think we’re going to have to pull Raanta if we want to win this one, hope I’m wrong, but he’s fighting it and his positioning is all wrong.
  4. After 1: CANES 3 - Philly 1 Goal 1 - Fast (3) from Martinook (9) and Staal (5) Goal 2 - Necas (15) from Svechnikov (13) and Noesen (11) (Power Play) Goal 3 - Fast (4) from Martinook (10) and Staal (6) - Staal picked up his 15th (and 16th) point of the season. - Necas picked up his 15th goal of the season eclipsing his total of 14 from last year. - Svechnikov picked up his 30th point of the season.
  5. WE HAVE LIFT OFF! THE POWER PLAY IS OPERATIONAL!
  6. Not only that but his ass was buried in the net, like get out on top of your crease and challenge the shot my guy.
  7. I hope Andersen finds his way back to being the Freddie from last year cause Raanta drives me insane.
  8. Big save early by Raanta, time for the guys to wake up.
  9. Pucks on net, pucks on net, pucks on net, let’s see it.
  10. Bowl games aren’t about attendance unless it’s a NY6 or a CFP bowl, it’s all about TV ratings and somehow, these shitty bowls still pull in good ratings. For example, ESPN Events owns the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl that featured Toledo and Liberty. RoofClaim.com is the titling sponsor but it’s owned and operated by ESPN Events. Surprisingly, this game was the highest rated show (original) on TV for Tuesday. Does ESPN care that it looked like there was only 2,000 people in the stands? Absolutely not, their network was responsible for the highest rated show on television on Tuesday and that’s all that matters to them.
  11. Lineup coming in hot and it’s interesting, Kotkaniemi is back on the fourth line. Teravainen - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Stastny - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Stepan Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce de Haan - Chatfield Raanta Kochetkov Scratches - Drury, Coghlan Injuries - Pacioretty, Kase, Andersen
  12. It definitely won’t be. I imagine they’ll try to reacclimate Bridges to the fan base by making him the poster boy for some domestic abuse shelter in Charlotte. The Hornets PR team should probably just work through the holidays.
  13. Looks like the Copetti deal is in the final stages and because of that, Daniel Rios has been sold to Chivas of Liga MX. In addition to the Rios deal, Charlotte has also made a deal with Nashville SC acquiring an international roster slot in exchange for some GAM. So over the past month: IN: Enzo Copetti (Racing Club/Argentina - Signed), Hamady Diop (Clemson University - Drafted), Patrick Agyemang (University of Rhode Island -Drafted), Nick Scardina (Washington University - Drafted), Andrew Privett (Penn State University - Drafted), Brandon Cambridge (University of Portland/Vancouver Whitecaps - Signed - Homegrown Rights Acquired From Vancouver), David Poreba (Stal Mielec/Poland - Loan With Permanent Stay Option - MLS NEXT Contract), and Nimfasha Berchimas (Charlotte FC Academy - Charlotte Has Homegrown Rights) Out: Daniel Rios (Chivas/Mexico), Jordy Alcivar (Independiente/Ecuador)
  14. The Hornets tried to sneak this one through at 5:00PM on the Friday before Christmas hoping no one would notice, in case they were wondering, it didn’t work, we noticed.
