I wouldn’t know what my kitchen looks like because I don’t have to cook.

That was my thought as well. In the same situation I would have celebrated like Carolina did but if I lost I probably would have just left.
-
Eh tradition or not it’s in the best interest to change. I’m a die hard Carolina fan but if I just lost a heated game then I’m not going to sit around while the other team celebrates in my face. Either shakes hands right after the game and celebrate after or don’t have the shake.

Who cares if Duke didn’t shake hands… player’s shaking hands is the most ridiculous thing in sports along with the national anthem. NBA players only shake hands when they feel like it but aren’t required, NHL players only do it after a seven game series of punching each other in the mouth, soccer players only do it when they feel like it… coaches should shake hands because at that moment they are the highest representative of the organization that is available…. Players, who gives a poo. I hate Duke as much as the next person but I don’t give a poo if they don’t shake hands.

At me next time once you make it out of your crime stricken city and I lived in the triangle longer than you’ve probably been alive. Just because I have a different opinion than you doesn’t make it wrong or right you don’t have to get all upset about what I think of Durham… I don’t give too shits about what you think about Asheville or any other city in the world. Sensitivity is at an all time high.

Odd question… hair care or health care? And if it’s truly hair care… what exactly does that mean.
-
Fine, town.

There’s nothing else to talk about… the game is over. Carolina came out on top… if you want to talk about tomorrows game then create a UNC/Kansas thread. No one forced you click the link for this one.

Bro I get it… you are obsessed with me… buy me dinner first.
-
We already did all last night, the game is over.

Just because a city is building or it’s becoming better doesn’t mean it’s a great city. In my opinion Chapel Hill is pound for pound a better city than Durham considering all things.
-
As a business city it’s fine but that doesn’t mean to much to me as I’m blessed to not have to worry about that. The overall city landscape just doesn’t seem to provide much. It’s similar to Raleigh for me I guess.

My God dude… get a grip. Act like an adult or gtfo.

And my question isn’t trying to be rude, I drive through quite often and it doesn’t look like much. Just curious as to what the is to actually do?

What does Greensboro have?

I drove down to visit some family in Tampa… I’ll say I made it a point not to stop in Daytona, just waited until we got to Orlando. I also don’t know what the hell a buckey’s is but apparently everyone loves it.

Not sure about the drugs, a good friend of mine bought a house there right before covid hit. He could flip that thing now and probably make close to an 80% profit. Hopefully it always keeps that small beach town vibe. I’d hate to see it become something like Daytona in 50 years time.

Asheville is great. Family lives up on one of the mountains in Black Mtn. and it’s really nice. Great food, fishing, breweries, outdoor life, golf is really good. Just a solid town.

It has more going for it, it’s not just a place you go to get a beer, and as far as violent crime it’s pretty minimal. If you’re goal is to get a beer every night and go to a show then maybe Durham is for you but overall that’s not my scene, though I do enjoy a good beer. Then when you couple that with there being quite a few areas that you don’t want to be in… it’s just not my scene. But for people that it that’s great.

That you can’t read…

I should say the surrounding areas of Wilmington. Their downtown does suck but the areas around like Southport are really neat.
-
And it’s still part of the city…. Which is the point that everyone is missing. For what it’s worth Chapel Hill in its entirety is a nicer area than Durham even if Durham has the cool and vibrant art scene and bars because it’s catered to 30+ where Chapel Hill is catered to 18 to 29.

There’s not much going for it all. Durham is trying to build itself up, obviously Charlotte is Charlotte, Raleigh is meh, Wilmington and Asheville are probably the nicest cities in NC.
