Half surprised to not see the committee put Kentucky, Kansas, and Wisconsin in UNC’s region. Those three teams have been fairly common opponents for the Heels in the tourney. They did sneak Michigan State in there though.

At first glance, the East Region is tough. The top four seeds in that region are playing their best basketball right now. As for UNC, I think their region sets up nicely for a showdown with Arizona but there’s a lot of unpredictability about who UNC and Zona will face to get there. Strong potential for some upsets in that region.

They sure gave Arizona what appears to be an easy path to the sweet 16. Carolina will have a tougher time with Michigan State or Mississippi State but I think the bracket sets up nicely for a UNC/Zona matchup.

Yeah… that’s gonna be a no for me. In the early to mid 80’s Moo U was Carolina’s biggest rival because Duke was complete ass during K’s first few years. The dookies and ncsux can lose every game for all I care.

I think there’s a lot of parity in the conference which doesn’t help. I have 6: UNC, Duke, UVA, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Wake Forest Wouldn’t be shocked to see two of Pittsburgh, Clemson, and Wake left out though.

It’ll be interesting to see how many ACC teams get in. I feel like the conference is always overlooked.

Don’t think Freddie is going anywhere but more teams are starting to carry three goalies because it’s a given that at some point in the season a goalie is going to get hurt. Canes have three solid one’s.
