Tez Walker and Nate McCollum are gonna feast.

I know it’s preseason but Bunting already looks better as a Cane than he ever did with the Leafs. I think it’s a combination of his game really fitting well with what we are trying to do on offense and just a better overall opportunity, i.e. not having to force feed Matthews the puck.

Haven’t seen one yet, hope it was just precautionary keeping him out.

I think the emergence of FUS is even more of a reason to not rush Svechnikov back. Both FUS and Suzuki have looked really good in preseason.

I think two wins and a draw probably gets us in. Whats ironic is just like last year we head to Chicago in a must win situation.

If I’m the MLB then I’m definitely targeting Dundon and Carolina as an expansion candidate. After Dundon’s success with the Hurricanes as well as his success with TopGolf, the PGA Tour, and pickleball, I’d think the MLB would be thrilled to add an owner that has proven success in other realms of athletics.

Are our wide receivers doing a good job, no. Is the coaching staff scheming them open, also no. There’s a reason Puka Nacua has stepped in to the role of Cooper Kupp and is performing at the same level Kupp does… it’s because McVay can get guys open. Up to this point, Reich has not shown the ability to scheme our guys open. Additionally, this isn’t new for a Reich coached team. Zero, after Frank’s answer where he explicitly said the play calling is not the problem, I’d be out of here and begging McVay to take me back. I liked Frank as a person, had my questions about him as a coach, but his answer to Sheena’s question really bothers me because it’s cut from the same cloth as the bull poo that Rhule used to vomit out of his mouth.

Shoutout to Sheena for asking that question and if I’m Tepper I’d fire Frank on the spot for his answer. The coaching staff is just as much of a team as the actual guys on the field. He needs to get with Thomas, Josh, Jim, etc. and they need to come up with a plan as a group. The selfish type of thinking by Reich in thinking that his play calling is adequate is the same selfish type of thinking that saw Matt Rhule blame everyone but himself for the Panthers struggles. What does it take to find a coach who knows when he needs help.

He’s got no confidence in himself. He lined up behind a guard and had to be pushed by his RB to the center. I have never seen that happen before. The stage is too big for him and he needs to sit until he figures it out. He could be the smartest kid in the world but if he doesn’t have confidence when the lights come on then it’s all for nothing. I’d love it if he had Cam’s confidence but I’d even take Baker’s at this point.
