  1. If Nick Richards is our most improved player then I don’t want to see who our least improved player is.
  2. Thor almost baptized former Bobcat, Noah Vonleh.
  3. Interesting, instead of going with DSJ, Rozier comes back in for LaMelo.
  4. These next three weeks (including today) are 4PM games if I’m not mistaken.
  5. No Martin means Bouknight is off the bench first.
  6. I thought I saw somewhere where they were first and third in denied zone entries last year. Once they get comfortable with each other they will shut everyone down.
  7. Gotcha, I don’t know anything about the medical field so just seeing that there was something wrong with Watt’s heart and subsequently seeing that he was playing today was shocking, but I guess there are situations where it isn’t overtly serious.
  8. I wonder how long some of these players’ leashes are going to be for playing poo defense.
  9. Yes, but just using it as an example. I’m not terribly familiar with AFib but figured that team doctors would take the situation rather seriously if it could potentially lead to a clot or heart stoppage.
  10. Starting lineup: Bench: G - Smith Jr., Crutcher G - Bouknight, Ball, Sims F - McDaniels, McGowens, Duruji F - Thor, Jones, Whaley C - Richards, Williams Injured: Martin, Hayward
  11. If I had to guess: Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce de Haan - Coghlan Chatfield Chatfield is no longer waiver exempt and I personally think he’d get claimed if we try to send him down; Bear on the other hand is overpaid for what he does. The Canes could try to carry eight defensemen (Slavin, Burns, Skjei, Pesce, de Haan, Coghlan, Chatfield, and Bear) but I think juggling eight guys with only six spots getting playing time could get messy. I’d trade Bear for a third or fourth round pick and be done with it. I feel like de Haan and Coghlan have played well enough that I’d be comfortable with either one jumping up into the top four should an injury occur, and call-up wise, we could always bring up Lajoie, Lagesson, or Dronov to fill out the bottom pairing.
  12. A little Hornets action before the Panthers matinee.
  13. Interesting, thanks for sharing as I’m not too familiar with it. Do you feel any different when you are out and about and exercising? Was just curious as to whether or not exercise could cause some sort of major issue for Watt.
  14. So this is pretty wild… The most recent incident of a fairly famous professional athlete suffering from a heart issue occurred in the sport of soccer when Denmark’s, Christian Ericksen, collapsed on the field… he was out for months… I’m not entirely sure how Watt gets cleared here.
  15. Dress code for todays game is a t-shirt and blue jeans.
  16. Well never mind that, looks like the newer logo is still on the helmet. Still might go silver, black, silver.
  17. Haven’t worn blacks this season yet, what are the chances they go with this look and slap the old panthers logo on the silver helmet.
  18. Yeah, I guess Rod just wanted to get continued looks at other guys. I thought de Haan looked really good but I don’t like handicapping him with Bear. I think pairing him with an offensive-defenseman like Coghlan would be beneficial.
  19. The Union’s GD is +42… that’s absolutely insane. What Charlotte did to them last night just doesn’t happen. They haven’t lost a regular season match by 4+ goals since 2019.
  20. First preseason game is at 1:00PM today against Boston, I don’t believe Martin is playing and Hayward might not either. The game will be on NBATV.
  21. Well.. Columbus beat Red Bulls at the death tonight so things are going to get a little more difficult. There’s honestly so many playoff scenarios for us that it’s not even worth talking about until the final match, hell, Cincinnati is collapsing and if they lose to D.C. in their final game then they will probably miss the playoffs. Going to be a wild finish should we beat Columbus on Wednesday.
