Washington Football Team finalizing deal with Marty Hurney
davos replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
One playoff appearance, one winning season together in 6 years right? Go get 'em WFT! Ron Rivera, Marty Hurney, Taylor Heinicke...good luck Washington. -
Rapoport: Panthers expected to be in the mix for Watson.

They need a LB. Cunningham is meh, they've been wanting a good one for a while. Don't know if Shaq fits their scheme but I could see him as a 3-4 ILB. Maybe I'm cray though. Don't know if they'd want 2 huge RB contracts after trading for Johnson last year but you never know. Defensive line, especially if they're shipping Watt per rumors. Could we package Short and pretend he's still good? -

#8 2021, 3-2021, 1-2022 to start the convo and tell them all but Chinn, Brown, DJ & Burns are on the table. -
Never knew you overcame it. Your ass has been kissed. Props. edit*Also, kinda of sh*t comment on my end so apologies and respect brother.

I wish you didn't say that as you constantly infer alcohol problems and post in a very crass manner regarding consumption and deliberate self care. Now I'm depressed.

I say 5! jk

I don't get why any tall X or Z is considered "possession" nowadays but I digress. I see nice balance in someone like Garrett. I'm honestly a bit tired of the Hill experiment so he better show up or we need to move past him this year.

Who's the red hat dude? haha

The more I'm looking into these guys, I really like Bradberry and Sanchez. Would have been nice to have some type of addition on the offensive line depth wise but we can still find some good adds. The team is well rounded. Slightly light at safety and OL depth but we're in good position. Sanchez learning more skills from Boykin could be awesome. Bradberry may be on the outside sooner than people expect IMO. 2nd round pick for a reason.

I only know as much as I know but Bell doesn't seem as ideal as some of the other guys at SS this draft. Still would love the pick though but not a trade up. I think he's more likely to fill Coleman's role down the road but can for sure play SS in our D. There's a lot of big athletic potential box safeties in this draft who are great against the run: Cash, Thomspon, & Killebrew. Not to mention my super sleeper safety special: Kavon Frazier. I believe we've met with all of them.

1-Ogbah (DE), 2-Shepard (WR), & 3-Darius Thompson (SS) and call it a day.

I've been thinking the DTs that are more balanced will be gone (Butler, Rankins, & Chris dickflop Jones) and the others that are more one-dimensional (the Bama boys with their run-defense) could fall a bit. Robinson's potential however is pretty significant so I think he's gone early. I actually think a some teams could consider Willie Henry, Kenny Clark or Ridgeway over Jarran Reed. Basically--If Jarran Reed is available, I wonder if how we'd rank him. I'd still consider Ogbah over him. Maybe even Neal or Joseph.

2016 Panthers Schedule - Thoughts and Musings

What a crazy deal--I'm moving from Denver but will be living in SD/North County when we play the Chargers...on my birthday week. Hell yes. I'm there. -
Something to take note of: Having prospects in for visits doesn't always mean what you think. The staff could maybe see a guy that definitely looks interesting but has some question marks they want to check about---the interview could result in the FO either really wanting said prospect or slide them down the draft board.

Carolina Panthers will target offense in round one
davos replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
On an offense related note: Ifedi is starting to get some big hype. Sounds like he's high on some mid to late first team boards (Vikes, Texans, Jets, Seahawks) The Giants are apparently targeting offense as well and with the Lions, Colts and Jets as OL contenders, there could be an interesting turn-of-events before we pick and who might be available. The likes of Conklin, Clark, & Decker could go surprisingly higher and cause top talent to fall on the DL or even WR. It's hard to see a team taking Derrick Henry before our pick in my opinion but there could be a surprisingly good player available elsewhere. -
Haven't gotten a chance to check out this Listenbee guy. A lot of good discussion has been had about Shepard though...he's been one to keep an eye on for a while now. Has been consistently ranked in top-45 on big boards for what it's worth.

Carolina Panthers will target offense in round one
davos replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean...at the end of the day,I can see us looking intently at the Henrys or one of the top OLs, but looking at this DT class, if one of Vernon Butler, A'Shawn Robinson, or Jarran Reed are available---I wonder how highly we would place them and how tempting they would be sitting there. -
Carolina Panthers will target offense in round one

Outside of QBs, in the first, on offense we're basically looking at: RB: Derrick Henry TE: Hunter Henry WR: Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson, Laquon Treadwell, Will Fuller (Could likely all be gone) OL: Conklin, Ifedi -

Regardless of the first, I think DL could be a strong possibility in the 2nd considering the amount that could potentially have a first round grade on them by DG. Also, while watching Hunter Henry's vids, I couldn't help but notice how well he could fit in our offense. It's usually hard to spot on the receiving end but that offense he was in had some strong similarities and the routes he ran+the passes he grabbed just makes it seem like a really solid fit. -
Denver, just so after we win, I can be one of the random Carolina fans midst all of this orange crap up here haha.
