  1. The wolves literally just got stacked. Holy poo. Canes prospects all together again.
  2. Chicago wolves GM said “It’s for the benefit of the Chicago Wolves, the Carolina Hurricanes and the American Hockey League that we have 32 NHL teams and 32 AHL affiliates. It’s good to be partnered with the Hurricanes.” Which tells me Tom was exploring an AHL expansion as pressure at least.
  3. I’m sure more details will come out soon but everything I’ve seen so far is pretty generic. Hopefully we’ll get some meat and potatoes before round 2 starts.
  4. Canes get oversight of hockey operations. Guessing Tom finally paid the premium for that. TTFHG’s.
  5. I have not read this yet as it was just posted. I’ll see if there is any juicy details and post them up.
  6. What are y’all thinking for the NHL game tonight? I think it would be more entertaining if Toronto won but my gut tells me Boston closes this out by -1.5. Though if Woll gets the start again I lean a bit more mid/moneyline.
  7. Or the Rags, or Seattle ownership… or rods agent or Donny Wads(that would be low during a playoff run to put out publicly).
  8. I didn’t like what I saw from Coghlan in Columbus, he was lost in the system. But he’d probably be the safer bet than Morrow. Not sure about Seeley.
  9. Ok that’s all fine and dandy but what about TDA, Pesce and the playoffs? Rod did say TDA will be back next practice.
  10. Looks like Ronan Seeley may be drawing in for TDA instead. I assume even if TDA’s X-rays were actually negative he’s still probably got a bone bruise. Giving the guy all the time we can to heal. Nvm, it’s Coghlan filling for TDA.
  11. TDA and Pesce are both NOT at practice. We’ll see who slots in with skjei. I assume coughlan.
  12. Canes practice at 11. We’ll see if BP is in a non-contact and if TDA is out there.
  13. Umm, that’s not a trip, and that’s not embellishment. The dude just fell down. The fug refs.
  14. Luke DeCock started this whole thing during the fugging playoffs when we should be focused on the playoffs not RBA. Which I’m sure he’s gonna say today. Drager chimed in after the fact to spin poo. It’s probably the Seattle ownership or the fugging rags that put the “offer pulled” message out to fug with us. Moral of the story, I guess playoffs don’t get enough clicks now so they have to inflame something that isn’t even on the table yet.
  15. With a mass of fans completely outraged foaming-at-the-mouth because we weren’t starting our #1 pick QB. That’s where we would have been. Instead “we are/were playing too old dalton, we could have gone 15-0 with Bryce!”
  16. I’d rather Tom start a AHL team in NC/SC but Chicago is the safer $$$ bet.
  17. Luke DeCock trying to be a cock and stir the RBA pot mid playoffs. Smh.
  18. Rangers beat reporter says Game One will be Sunday, Game Two Tuesday, I’m guessing unless the networks have conflict we will be Thursday/Saturday at home.
  19. I mean he’s still at .8 point per game but ya. I think it had a lot to do with the islanders game planning around shutting him out of the bumper and keeping him off the puck. I expect the rags to do the same. Will they be as effective will be question.
  20. Chip Alexander said he’s rocking a neck brace too. It’s gotta be insanely frustrating for a guy like Fasty.
  21. Except for Fasty. Fasty is not good news. Hopefully he doesn’t have to get disks fused or some poo.
  22. Put the full rundown of Donny wads interview in the playoff thread.
  23. Here is the full rundown. “• Tony DeAngelo is fine after leaving last night's game during the third period. X-rays were all negative and he is feeling better today. • Brett Pesce (lower-body injury) is out of a walking boot. If everything goes as expected, he should play games in Round 2. He may not be ready for Game 1, but the team is hoping to have him available at some point during the series. • CT scans and MRIs revealed that Jesper Fast suffered an injury to a muscle in his neck during the team's regular season finale. • There's a "very quick timeline" for an announcement regarding an AHL affiliation for the 2024-25 season. • He talks daily with Rod Brind'Amour about a contract extension. "Rod wants to be a Hurricane for life... There's going to be a solution here very quickly."”
  24. Fasty has damage to his neck muscles from the last game.
