I’m not seeing why people are down on our 5v5. We owned them for most of the game 5v5. See offensive zone time disparity. If Svech didn’t get called for a phantom trip at the end we probably would have taken the game to overtime.

Also canes practice at 1, I assume either way Freddie is getting the day off though.

Give Pyotr a game. If he sucks you can always go back to Freddie or save Freddie for the two home games.

I mean it’s pretty simple. We lost special teams, we beat them 5v5 but we lost the goalie duel.

Everyone. Just take a chill pill. It’s Cinco De Mayo. We didn’t get blown out or lose a close game(0-0 3rd overtime). We showed we have fight and beat them on 5v5 easily. Which shakes them more than us not being good on PK. Because everyone knows when we are slow we have bad faceoff goals on the PK.

The only thing I wanted when we were out of the game was for the rags to get one more PP to prove to our guys they still got it. Didn’t happen. Dude Staal is gonna beast this series. He was fire tonight. He probably had more real hits than the rest of our team combined.

Just go take a chill pill or direct your pissed off in the right direction. Most of us saw the canes played the better game besides some early game fug ups and Freddie being mentally not there. We controlled the game when it mattered(well besides the refs), this is just getting started. I suspect a pissed off canes team on Tuesday, rags best beware.
