  1. Hackett is far and away my favorite choice. I could live with Daboll. I'm not as informed on Eberflus so I'd need to research him more. Moore and Leftwich don't have enough experience yet. Could conceivably get comfortable with Bieniemy but I'm not sure he gets another shot. From what I've seen, repeat interviews with the same team seem to be rare.
  2. Michael Bates defended George Seifert after 1-15
  3. Former players like Stewart acknowledging it actually says something.
  4. I'm the least sentimental person you'll find when it comes to football... ...but that was bullsh-t.
  5. Not even sending Newton out for a final play? (and that in a situation where it would have made perfect sense?) Damn
  6. I remember a comedy show about a bad football team where they came off the field chanting "two points, two points". After they stopped, the coach said "Great game, guys! We only lost by two points." I feel like that's about where we are now.
  7. I don't give a sh-t about sentimentality but this game has been over for a while and it's not like it's making a difference anyway. Why not just send Newton out to say goodbye?
  8. Hearing that he may retire. Bears look to be firing Nagy but might also fire Pace.
  9. With good reason. Unfortunately, Tepper and Rhule aren't any better.
  10. I don't care who the quarterback is if Matt Rhule is the coach.
  11. FYI: Being reported the Giants are not firing Joe Judge.
  12. Why do you care regardless of who's playing quarterback? Under Rhule, this team is just inept all over.
  13. A big part of the reason they "have more chances" is that we can't get them off the field on third down. Giving up an eleven yard first down run to a forty-plus year old quarterback doesn't exactly say good things either.
  14. The offense is bad, but it's way too early in the half to blame anything on fatigue. The reality is we built a defense primarily geared to stop the pass and in the process formed a unit not only highly susceptible to the run, but also not terribly effective against elite passers. Losing some of our better players to injury and other things didn't help. Bottom Line: They're just not really that good.
